Bobby's working on his book.

Bobby's site is finally updated.  Lots of new stuff.  New artwork and interviews.
There are also a few short stories by Bobby, which appear to be chapters from his long awaited book which he calls
"a work in progress".  Everything above is listed in the 'Chronicles' section.
There is also a cheesy magazine article
titled The Manson Myth by Dennis Noe.
When referring to Bruce Davis, the author calls him
Gary Davis.   Why?

I have read every word on his site a few times....

Ill be easy on Bobby cause I know Liz and the chics dig him..

So for today only the good-

He seems to have really stayed real and true to himself and he deserves credit for that. He has also accomplished more under his circumstances than you could ask anyone to do ( He can be the king of Circumstances but I am the SAINT) He has real talent as an artist ,musician, and he is a good writer as well. I don't think he would be a threat to anyone if they let him go home to Barbara...

That is about the best I can do for a guy who betrayed a friend- killed him and stole from him ,and left him to rot...

I'm of to Disney for the weekend - I am high and in a good mood lol

Hippie i have been a fan of his art for years. i wrote him years ago and used his art to charm my way in. he was to cocky to write me back.

well I will disagree with Saint and say that the "Dead End" sneak preview thingie on Bobby's site is a wee bit clunky. It starts out:

"Step by halting step, layer by suffocating layer, the unhallowed halls of San Quentin State Prison enclosed me in their cold steel and concrete embrace."

I don't think I could get through much of that, myself. Maybe a ghost writer would help? Or...maybe that's the problem.

Patty :) Notice I said he had real talent in Art and Music and then said he was a " good writer" lol I was being nice for the sake of the women on here who dig him lol - for what it is worth - alot of what he writes is self-serving,whining nonsense wrapped up in alot big words he has obviously learned while locked up...

But keep that between us :)

I am only interested in his new book for any new bits of truth I am not aware of- trust me- it isn't for his literary talents :)

I go to Mrs. Burb, Liz, and Thelma / Louise and the Col for that....

Oh also, Liz wrote in the original post that

"There is also a cheesy magazine article titled The Manson Myth by Dennis Noe. When referring to Bruce Davis, the author calls him Gary Davis. Why?"

Do you think maybe the writer got Bruce confused with Gary Hinman? Those who are not as engrossed int his case as we are seem to make these reporting mistakes, for instance, Squeaky did not have brain cancer, Susan did, etc. There were a lot of players back in '69 and the relationships were complex. Makes you kind of wonder what else has been reported falsely that we all now accept as fact?

You sure that wasn't Denise Noe? She corresponded with Charles for a while, wrote a long article about him.

I couldn't stand "Stupid Cupid" Bobby BeauSoleil for decades. That photo of him on Col's blog looks like he's doing a bad impression of Elvis. Besides he murdered a guy that never did a damn thing to him.

He was right there in the Height music scene back in the early sixties. He hung around with bands like "The Grateful Dead," "It's A Beautiful Day", and "Quicksilver Messenger Service." He was a friend of John Cippolina of Quicksilver. (One of the best guitarists I ever heard.) He also hung out with that freak Kenneth Anger. Made several "artsy films" with Anger. He drifted up and down the coast of CA hanging with musicians. He would sit in once in a while with the band "Love" with Arthur Lee. Love member Johnny Echols talks about how afraid of Manson Bobby was. Too bad he couldn't get a gig of his own.

BB was a drifter, who probably would've ended up dead or in jail whether he met Manson or not. He lives better now, than most of the law abiding working class folks nowadays.

I'd like to know why BB is allowed to have musical instruments, and charge money for his art shows. While others, including Manson. can't have jack shit. Barbara charges as much as 6000 dollars for an original Bobby painting. You can buy prints online.

I fluctuate as to how I feel about Bobby. He is so full of himself, sometimes. Mostly I think he is very conceited, and out of touch with the atrocity he did to Gary Hinman. It shows in his retro-sixties-type art. JMHO

Again, since his name is connected to Manson he is denied parole. The Hinman murder had nothing to do with T/LB. It was over money and a bad bach mescaline Hinman gave Which Bobby preceeded sell to the Strait Satans. Oops! They got pissed and wanted their money back.

i just find him a very attractive murderer. he did wrong yes, but hes just so damn sexy even as he is aging. i have not read any of the new stuff on his site yet, will be doing that later. you can bash him i dont care, just dont call him ugly. lol

Oh, you mean he was hot. I agree. Even now he looks very distinguished. Father Time was good to him. I would never buy any paintings from him though. He charges too much, and it won't getcha high. Then you'll have to ask for your money back. He won't have it...and you know the rest of the story
