A response to the responses...

The "eviliz book offer" has generated a nice response, but most folks who blog, on any website, don't spend "any" money on learning more about what they are talking about. This is understandable because we all spend a great many years going to "Establishment" schools only to realize that we learned very little. At best we are "inspired" by a few teachers, but inspired to to what? If anything, the "teachers" only plant the establishment's "programs" in our vulnerable little brains. Then one day, an aware stranger comes along, recognizes the "program" planted in us and taps into it. Of course, any aware person can easily alter the program, already planted in the unaware person, or sometimes the "program" itself is not compatible with certain individuals and a genius / monster is created.

We'll spend a hundred bucks on dinner and a movie for two, in hopes of getting our genitals stimulated, but $100 to get your brain working? The establishment has taught us all that 12 years is enough, but if you go another 4-8 years to college you'll be set for life. Anyone care to reveal YOUR success story based on that theory?

Matt asked me to join your blog, so I read your responses and comments in connection with my book. Now what, you've ALL inspired ME to write a new book about what my response / comments would be?

Robert Hendrickson

Patty spends more money than she'd like on re-educating herself or further educating herself: not really sure which better applies to her situation. She wishes it were free, but postgrad tuition ain't cheap. Staying curious is important: if she were not pursuing another degree she'd probably spend most evenings after working her 40 hour per week job drunk in the back yard. Knowledge is her salvation; knowledge is power. ANY kind of knowledge.

Robert...I love your work. But you can be pretty damned ungrateful. How about just a little humility before I plop down over 100 bucks for your latest?

Hendrickson makes an excellent point. Learning comes from inspiration and provoked thought rather than memorization and regurgitation of facts.

This book is written in a way that provokes thought, rather than just presenting "facts" as the author may see them.

His remarks regarding spending tens of thousands on higher education vs. learning from a standpoint of provoked thought and inspiration were to illustrate his point, not to humiliate anyone.

Said Mr. Hendrickson: "...don't spend "any" money on learning more about what they are talking about."

Many people read material from the public library or online. This saves money and precious trees.

A hundred dollars for a book seems to be overpriced. What, is it bound in gold? Especially when you asked people who were interviewed to sign a waver so there wasn't any sharing of your profits.

The price of a book is usually based upon the value of it's content or it's collectability factor. If Hendrickson is providing over 570 pages of new insight with over 100 new images, than the value of the book is worth it. The books collectability factor is starting upon it's release.

If you feel that the book isn't worth it prior to buying it, then don't. There are plenty of books that have a $20+ price tag with 150 pages all saying the same story as the last book you read. They'll also give you the added bonus of having the same images as the last book you read.

The people that have purchased the book already have stated that Hendrickson is providing something new, that only he would be able to. Apparently, he is kind enough to offer you (the Eviliz.com members) a special deal. I will be buying a copy for myself.

I have my copy...and the DVD's too. I purchased mine before the Eviliz offer and felt it was a good deal.
