It's significant because Leslie's memory was connected to Dianne's being and in particular why she used the word 'fun' to describe stabbing <i>to</i> Dianne. It was part of the same conversation that ultimately enabled the prosecution to have independent corroboration of Leslie's involvement in the LaBianca murders which led to her conviction and all the trouble she's had subsequently.
