Remembering the Victims

56 Years (yesterday & today)

  1. Many thanks, Matt for uploading that photo montage. I know many people won't agree with what I'm about to say but I still feel compelled to say it: Perhaps it's truly time to stop doing "research" on this case and finally leave these many victims and their still-living relatives in peace. I sincerely believe that there is nothing further of genuine value to be gained by continued probing into their (violently ended) lives. Obviously, my wish will fall on deaf ears....books about this case will continue to be published, as will books about two other individuals who, like the TLB victims, deserve to be left alone (though not forgotten, don't misunderstand me), Marilyn and JFK.

  3. July is always sunnier than August-
It was the evenings of these two August days.
    And now we
'sit and watch as tears go by' ( from The Rolling Srones 'As Tears Go By')
Fame and riches can't buy everything.
Now time of your months and years go by, so
what can be done for you?
Sadie Susan, yeah, that goes for you too.
How can you four do these things so thoughtlessly, so cruel
and so opposite of your 'peace and love' sayings?
How can there be any forgiving for these two nights of hurt and sinning?
    Why did Charlie send you?
We don't know how he controlled you,
    'he bought and sold you
    I don't know how
    you were diverted
    you were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
    no one alerted you'
(a slight paraphrase of The Beatles/George Harrison's 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'
    There could have executed you
right there in California out there in the country
in a place they say is a prison
but they said even lowlife weirdo criminals can go ahead
    go on living
    well well,
    what's that you say Susan...

  5. Orwhut,
Thank you for your friendly reply.
Some of the lines were taken, slightly paraphrased from those two songs I mentioned. The rest I wrote. 'Conservatively' as I didn't want all here to think I'm that bonkers...heh
I was simply reading what was contributed here in the info/articles and not much in the mood for commenting. However, I will comment once in awhile from now on. I am impressed by the articles here, by the way.
Also, I have been following and commenting on YouTube about what has been happening in the Middle East. The main media, the 'news' media is not free and it is not fair. I know what it's all about. After all, I was born near Jerusalem and my people, at least heritage wise and culture, are in the West Bank and in Gaza.
There is a lot going on, isn't there. I'm surprised that I'm not 'burned out' as I have been talking since the late 60s. About various topics, mostly foreign/world affairs.
And, how about that, I still have a sense of humor and even the same hair!
