  9. Patty - I'm not sure what route you'll take, but there is a big fire burning in Big Pine as I type this. The smoke has hit the Pahrump and Las Vegas areas. 395 was closed for a day or two, but open now with escorts.

    Be careful!!

  10. Yep sitting in a bar right now w/ mr. Patty, Newkie Brown in hand, listening to the locals talk. Being called the "Center Fire." No fatalities, thank goodness. 395 open again.

  11. Omg did anybody catch Geraldo's nuke special on Fox tonite? Mr. Patty is all, "He's still around?" LOL

  12. I have always found Geraldo and his ego amusing, Patty. His pathological need to feel important is truly comical. he's a freakin cartoon.

  13. Remember when Geraldo opened up some vault i think of Al Capones live, and it was empty?

  14. Yes I was watching! I remember it well - he took like, hours to open the damned thing - I felt like he had robbed me of three hours of my life.

We have internet connection again in the desert - it rained like a mofo last night. Total chaos: first the snowstorm, then the fire, now this...all in the past 72 hours!
