Some More Mary

Not exactly a close-up, but hell, it's Mother Mary...

This one looks like the original found by SCR's Paulina

  1. Apparently, she likes to wear orange a lot, I wonder if that's significant?

I don't have "Twitter" nor do I know much about it, however, this may have been Manson's Twitter page:

    http://twitter.com/heltershelter

I would guess his internet connection is sketchy.

  2. the pictures look to me like she was visiting the town I work in...and round here orange just mean you're a fan.

  3. Think these are all from the same outing... anyone recognize the locations? Not gonna pester her, just curious.

  4. snooproose, Do you think you would have recognized her? Except for Charlie and Stabby Tex, Im not sure I would recognize any of them out on the street. Glad I just see them on Liz's wonderful blog.

  5. Hi everybody. Please don't speculate about or post comments about peoples' locations. We will just delete them, and we hate doing that...

  6. Ah, Matt, I try to imagine the vicissitudes of being the administrator of a politically correct Manson blog.
Must be sorta like being CHarlie Sheen's priest, or Mitt Romney's bookie, or Tex Watson's travel agent, or...you get the picture.
    And my admiration.

  7. Maybe she wears orange because she's a Flyers fan.....

If so, I like her all the more!

  8. Okay, no hunting for Mary. :-)

I'm thinking the tangerine shirt isn't significant, becuz these photos all seem to be taken on the same outing, on the same day, so naturally she's wearing the same shirt.

I'm thinking the tangerine shirt isn't significant,

I only posted that half jokingly because everyone on these blogs seems so obsessed with every tiny detail.

I'm not really sure what the rules are on this blog. Posts like a Dierdre Lansbury story appear then disappear. Comments are posted then removed. Pics are posted, then altered. I was just reading on another blog about a pic of Ruth Morehouse that apparently caused problems with people on this blog.

Where I come from it's always been "combat internet". I don't think people have any legal right to privacy if someone takes a pic of them walking down a street and posts it on the net.

That said, I certainly want to thank the people that run this blog that have provided pics and info I certainly would never have had otherwise.

  10. This is a girl who had Charlie Manson's baby, who ate grapes from a trash dumpster, who shot at policemen at some gun store, who was handcuffed to Catherine Share wearing a bathrobe and a crew cut, and was an Inmate at CIW.

And those are the good things about her......

Now she is a senior citizen in a tangerine top and pants that don't make it to the ankle and a seat at the table before an early bird special.....

Life is cruel. But what's the alternative?

  11. hmm...I found the pic originally. I know precicely where she lives- I only ballparked the area. I did not mention the town but I did mention the state (a big state to boot). Now that I know that is not allowed I will not be posting that type of info here and I truley apologize. But I cant promise I wont post it elsewhere else, lol!

  12. You are all good contributors. Pics are one thing, but giving out personal information about where people live is quite another. pvm, you are correct you only suggested a state but Google's terms of use prohibit giving out personal information on people. We prefer not to even discuss where they may live because it spurs further debate on the subject and we're just not going there.

If you want to post it elsewhere, have at it!

  13. AC, I agree---I'm sure it's the same outing, since a couple of the other folks were in both photos wearing the same shirts.

TomG, those pants are supposed to be that length. Ha ha!

I am happy that she seems to be active/out and about, and has nice nerdy-looking librarian-type friends. Good for her. I listened to her son say on an old interview that he was raised by her parents, and considered her more of an older sister who didn't live with him, since his grandparents raised him and they were his parental role models. Now that they have passed away, perhaps he sees Mary more. I have not read/seen anything recent about him. Has anybody? I know he had married and had at least one child, and I read that Mary uses a new last name, and never had other children. I have always loved the photo of Mary holding him (Life Magazine) that was recently reposted on this blog.

  14. It could be worse Tom. She could be a Blackhawks fan.

  15. sorry Tom, didn't see the previous post about her being a orange clad Flyers fan. To many tears in my eyes from the B's demise tonight.
I have wondered (crap I need a life) if there were/are any sports fans amongst the Family. I can see Gypsy at a rodeo, Brenda at a bowling or pool tourney, Blue and Red as a beach volleyball team...Charlie as a shortstop.
    Just kidding of course.

  17. Just imagine - you are on an afternoon outing with some aquaintances, and you make a casual remark about something not making sense. To which the nice old lady in the tangerine shirt replies wistfully "Of how that reminds me of when I would be boinking Charles Manson and he would always say no sense makes sense".
And you feel bad about the alzhiemer's starting to set in.

  18. I am still intrigued by how "older" she looks from the neck up and how young she looks from the neck down. Really, she seems to have the figure and body of a 28 year old. I wonder if she became a fitness freak while serving time and then it carried over.
Which reminds me, I'd still love to know more about the TLB killers life in jail over the last forty years. I was reading in Restless Souls about how during her time in Sybil Brand where she first talked of the killings, Susan Atkings was known as the faster tongue around. Sadie was clearly the epitome of an unrepentant nympho skank. But when she 'gave her life to the Lord' did her sex life alter or not?
Clearly prison changed Mary, it would be nice to hear the story.

  19. Leary the worst book I ever read on this case was the book Mrs. Faith wrote about LULU's life in the clink...

Hearing about how they grew out of there bad ways and into such great young women...

    blah blah blah...

but it did mention the other girls were always pissy with Susan and that Katie was the last to completely let go of Charlie. She had his pictures on her cell wall and sung his songs into the early 70's...

Susan/LULU/Katie were put in there own special little unit built just for them, and when a few of the other girls were arrested for smaller crimes- they were all thrown in together for a mini clink reunion... but by then our heroines are supposedly only playing along at this point- because they are already on the road to rehabilitation....

If you are interested in that sort of thing it might be an interesting read....

    to pro LULU for me....

but it tells the story of the long years behind bars

  20. Re: privacy, in my opinion it's simply divine justice that the former Manson family can't escape media attention. I mean, that's what they were practically begging for through out the entire trial, right? There's no statute of limitations on karma.

  21. Saint C agrees with hippiekiller in this sentiment although the screen name disturbs me lol...

I have said before- they spent enough time begging for attention in the most disrespectful of ways...

When you dance, sing ,and laugh in front of cameras and families who have lost there loved ones...

you should forfeit your right to tell others when they should no longer look in my opinion

it is hard to feel badly for them now....

although at some point I guess if does get pathetic to squawk at these pathetic looking sorry old bastids who never amounted to shit..

When you watch Mary rubbing hands with TJ in that Hendrickson Documentary and listen to her talk about Charlie and look at the smug/cocky look in her eyes...

it is hard to forget that she is the same tired old looking hag with rotten teeth smiling in these photos...

but o.k. if it is in good taste

    I will try :)

  22. thanks mucho Saint. I have always had an absurd level of interest in group dynamics so yeah, maybe I will try and track down that bad read. I mean the thought of the Manson skanks having their own private wing or unit of the prison just blows my mind. By what possible reason would the authorities allow that?
By the way, always good to see you Saint. I hope all is well in your world.
