  1. I wonder if the other band members knew who he was?

  3. his teeth are still mangled, i thought he would have got them fixed over the years

  4. Lauren,
It seems like some reporter would have quizzed the band on that. I guess Clem is too obscure for the press to care.

  5. Im sure they have to know. His "new name" clearly isn't a secret. Several sites have outed him. Plus if he knew Tim Eschilman(sp?) for 13 years, Im sure he would have had to trust him with the subject.

  6. Makes sense to me. Thanks for explaining.

  7. From what i can gather he had to leave Rhythmtown Jive because of his 'outing'. whether they knew who he was before he was outed i dont know. if not i'm sure he'd make sure his past was ok with his new band before he joined so as not to cause problems

  8. That has to be the absolute worst effort at blotting out faces I have ever seen.

Reminds me of how CNN screwed up the blue dot over the face of that Kennedy kid accuse back in the 90s.

  9. A bunch of musicians, one of whom happens to have been a Manson murderer.

  10. From what I saw, the videos of this band on YouTube someone answered a question a fan had of "Who is that awesome guitarist" and someone answered "Manson used to call him Scramblehead." That was later removed.

  12. Not that anyone asked for it and sorry for those who disagree, but Im not certainly no Clem fan here.

  13. How dare he do something productive with his freedom!

    ReplyDelete
  14. I dont have an issue with what he does with his freedom, I just question why he was granted freedom. But thats a debate for another day.

  15. He earned his freedom. He went through the channels and did it legally. However, there's a lot of people who feel that he should have been convicted of the LaBianca murders as well. He was there beside Sadie and Sadie was convicted. Both had equal participation in the LaBianca slayings... and like Sadie, he was bragging about them to Al Springer after the fact. But, good for Grogan. He's free. He played the system and won.

  16. does anyone know who the man with the cerchdeif around his neck is or the guy standing next to ruthanne?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I believe the guy next to Ruth is Danny Decarlo. And as for Clem, I think they should have done more investigating about who burned Paul Watkins car, as it is widely speculated (even his own daughter) believes it was Clem. I agree wih the Labianca conviction, and I feel the board or whoever agreed to release him should have looked at his prior past, such as exposing himself to children.

  18. Just saw his new name is on Wikipedia. Wonder if he'd sue them.

  19. he was granted freedom because he grew up and confessed. it's really simple.

i haven't read anything about him committing more crimes. i actually like seeing photos of him on here because it shows that people can change for the good.

  20. Good point, Daniel. As a Christian, I like to believe that is possible. As a cynic, I have a harder time with it.

  21. Good ole Clemmy is why we don't have one of the best Manson family books out there- he told Squeaky not to publish a book she wanted to publish about the family.

  22. Lauren, There was NO exposure to children! Clem never exposed himself to children! What happened, is a woman spotted him napping next to a tree, and saw a rip, in his crotch, which clem explains, was the result of hoarse back ridding! There was NO deliberate exposure, just a wo-MAN missrepresenting facts, as usuall! By the way, women, get away with a lot more exposure, than a man!

  23. Wow the three on the right are like, eurotrash hillbilly bluesmen. Gotta love that suit in the middle- he's obviously the singer. I bet they rock the house, if in a slightly embarrassing way.

So what's the name of this band?

    ReplyDelete
  24. I just don't understand what you want a person in his place to do, Lauren. There's fascination in the case, of course but he's doing nothing wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Lauren I highly doubt Steve Grogan could dictate Lynette to do or not do anything,,,

  26. The guy served his time and the State of California let him go. So far as I can tell, he hasn't caused anyone any problems since he's been free. He is a better than average musician and I would have no problems playing in a band with him.

  27. Candy And Nuts- My corrections, I meant dissuade. That whats was said in Sanders book in an excerpt I read. True or not, it would be a good read!

  28. I just noticed, in the younger photo of Clem and friends, there is a small arrow inked onto the photo (behind his his right hip), pointing to a sheathed knife hanging from his belt. I have seen an enlargement of this photo elsewhere, and it is definitely a knife. This appears to be one of the courtroom series of photos, so he was not supposed to have his knife on his person in that moment in time.

  29. He looks OK in today pictures, seems like an ordinary guy. Quite handsome for his age. He did his time and as with some of the others, may have recovered his mental health. And repented. Why not?

  31. Janelle, who were Pat and Vicki? Got any more?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Pat was living in the little trailor that sat in front of the boardwalk. To the right of the driveway when you walked in. Vicki was a beautiful blond. Very young 14 or 15

semi runaway that lived on Laurel Canyon

  33. Angelgirl, how long were Pat & Vicki at the ranch? Who were they? I'm not familiar with them.

  34. Clem is no child molester. I can guarantee that. Gentle and magic is all. Whew!

  35. They were there after Charlie was arrested.
