  1. I read about that in Taming the Beast I think it was I think that girl got sent to prison

  2. Susan Murphy & Sandy went to prison for this crap by 1975, right? Squeaky was doing Federal time for the assassination attempt, so the International People's Court of Retribution was de-facto defunct.

How does this apparent loon fit in in 1977?

  3. Here's a link to the portion in "Taming the Beast" that talks about Misty and her husband Herbert Hay.

Also found that Misty used the name of Patricia M Noe, possibly a previous married name.

  4. Any kin to Denise Noe who did that article on Manson "My Friendship with Manson"?

  5. It looks like her name is, or has evolved to - Patricia (Misty) Maureen Gillum Hay (nee Noe). I guess having four names was common in that family, at least according to her mother’s obit:

Another article indicated she was 27 years old (1977), and plead guilty in April 1977 to sending threatening letters. Don’t know the sentence and don’t know how she earned her ‘Family’ moniker.

The interwebs say she goes by the name of Misty Maureen Hay (63) and still resides near Petaluma, CA (Santa Rosa, CA).

I suppose it’s better to have four different names than two that are the same. Like Sirhan Sirhan the political assassin of Robert Kennedy, Milos Milos the lover and killer of Mickey Rooney’s fourth wife, or Gene Gene the dancing machine.

  6. In Taming the Beast by Edward George, he mentions Misty Hay and that she wrote Manson and visited.
