I hope I look that good at 60 with my hair pulled back and no makeup.

There's been a lot of mention on this site about wanting to hear from these folks before they pass on into eternity. Linda is one I'd like to hear from.

Ah she looks fine, whatever who cares. My thing is who's the brotard next to her?

She has aged better than certain other people have since August 1969. Atkins said she drove the car both nights. She is one of the few people remaining that was there and pretty much knows exactly what happened.

She had a valid drivers license? Considering what these people were going to do, someone was actually worried whether the driver had a valid license? I find that hard to believe.

Did she deliberately knock on the wrong door at Salidin Nader's apt. or did she just knock on the wrong door and later "claim" to have knocked on the wrong door after talking to lawyers?

Anyway, thanx for the picture and the upload.

The valid drivers license explanation is utter b.s. The core Family at this point were career criminals at this point. Even with a valid license they were still ridin' dirty with weapons and Tex and Sadie at least were spun out on whatever shitty speed bikers concocted back then. No, I think Linda was an accomplice becuase Charlie told her to go, plain and simple.

As for knocking on the wrong door the second night I dunno. If you watch any interviews with Linda you quickly get the sense that she's not all that bright. Maybe before all the drug abuse and in the prime of her youth she was a little more together but I'm not so sure.

God I don't know why she hasn't cashed in and wrote her book! With a decent ghost-writer it could easily be a best-seller and she could finally stop being broke white trash. Maybe someone still has something over her, hmmm?

Well, it was a capital murder trial. Her freedom completely hinged on her complete cooperation throughout all of the trials and beyond.

Since there is no statute of limitations on murder I wonder if she is still bound to stick to the story. A book in that case would violate the agreement that keeps her free?

Only Linda knows, and I suspect she will never tell.

Would anyone know where and when the most recent pic of Ouish was taken ?

If we did Charlie, we would not say so.

maybe that's the son, she had with one of manson men.

Patty is Dead said...

Maybe Beauders, but even w/ the blur, dude looks too young for that: round, smooth baby face, plus the stylin' hipster beard.

PS Patty had never heard she had a son, only daughters. Thanks for that, UR always full of little gems of knowledge.

she had him while the trial was going on and she was incarcerated for her own protection--she named him angel.

Patty is Dead said...

Oh! Gotcha. Patty thought Angel was another girl like Tanya.

I also assumed Angel was a female child of Linda's. That biker dude might be a grandson, though.

Funny, having grown up there myself, I will always think of Linda as a New Hampshire girl. And her appearance and dupliciousness is almost identical to N.H.'s most famous murderess, Pamela Smart. Kinda eerie really. Like Poe spooky.

This picture reminds me of reading that Brenda always took advantage of the jail house dentist when she was in the lockup an seeing the condition of Sandy's teeth as shown in a YouTube video made during her stay in New England. Obviously dental hygiene was no more a priority than any other personal hygiene during those days. Life with the wacky Manson family.

beauders said...

nope angel was most definately a boy, i think her only son. that man possibly being a grandson fits.

I always thought that Linda could of at least TRIED to notify the authorities the night of the Tate murders, and told the police that the people had her daughter. I think she could of helped prevent the LaBianca's from being murdered. Why didn't she run away as fast as she could when they left her alone with the car? Or, better yet, why didn't she drive off at a high rate of speed, find a house, and make the people call the police. How could she have gone the second night?

Her grandson

She did not help she did not drive away I have never understood!

Sue, we don't really understand either, so we keep blogging...

Hi ya, I'm not an American but from the England, U.K. As an outsider it seems to me it was a drug fueled orgy of violence of people who were brainwashed and living in fear of an older manipulative evil person Charlie. I think the fact Linda didn't drive away was one, they had her daughter, two she was scared to death and three the fear of being a snitch and the reprisals that come with it but hey Linda did the right thing in the end but will probably be always looking over the shoulder....

Linda did give account once on Larry King with Bugliosi sitting next to her

The Kasabian family were my next door neighbors. I went to school with them and remember Linda coming back to Bobbie after the trial. They were and are a good family and it's unfortunate their family name is infamous because of her. As I recall she was no shrinking violet and could be agressive when she was noticed in public. Bobbie eventually divorced her. I knew all her children when they were babies hopefully they are living a good life in spite of who their mother is.
