Surprise Sunday

I did better than Larry King.
I give you Linda un-masked 2010.
I would say she looks her age- 60.
And she faired pretty well.
Good ole Yana the Witch.

I must admit, she looks better than I expected.

She appeared on Inside Edition with nothing disguising her looks. Then on Larry King she wears a wig. Surely she knows she is on Youtubes. What was the point of disguising herself on King's show? Nothing she ever does makes sense.

Is there *recent* video of Linda on YouTube? I can't find anything except the old Current Affair interview.

She must have received some money for her appearance on Larry King and that recent Manson doc that was on History Channel on the 40th anniversary special. My understanding is that the producers of the Manson doc found Linda living in a trailer with no food, no money.

I'm sure she was very well compensated. If she ever decided to ghost-write a book, she's make a fortune.

Which leads me to extend the following offer: Linda, I'm a professional copywriter, and would be happy to ghost-write your memoirs.

Yours, too, Ruth Ann.

I wonder if she went to jail with the rest of them how she would look today?

Would she be more religious?

If LULU/Katie/Sadie made the deal first- would they be living broke in a trailer???

The wheel of fate lol She seems to have made a huge success out of her second chance lol

Apparently she and Ruth are not running in the same circles these days....

Panamint Patty said...

Agreed - she looks good. I am happy to see her smile.

I'm certain that Lulu or Katie would take broke trailer life in a heartbeat. Just a hunch.

St. Circumstance said...

Yeah they would- but I wonder if they would have wound up that way???

She deserves to be in prison.
She was on the Manson 40 years later History docudrama and she looked pretty bad-- aged.
I would not want to read anything she writes. As far as I am concerned she is a liar and a parrot who repeated what the DA wanted for immunity. She is no more credible than any other "Family" member who was at the ranch less than 2 months.
Even Tex said she helped sharpen knives and hold them on the way there. This lady is no less a killer than anyone else who was convicted.

markprokes said...

gotta go with anonymous on this one,she should have done some time.

St. Circumstance said...

Yana the good witch? who wouldn't participate in the killings on the first night and then led them astray the second nite saving Nadars life...

Or Yana the bad witch- whose drug dealings were part of the motive for the first nite- and knowing people would die- went back the second nite??

What I believe about Yana is this-

I think her testimony was true about the 8,9'th. She may , and probably was coached about how to present herself, - but even bugs said she offered more than asked on some topics even when they made her look bad, and in all the parole hearings for Tex, LULU, Katie, Sadie they basically recount it the same way she did back then. There are small variances- but the story is pretty much the same all around on who went and who did what...

I mean not one of the others ever says at a parole hearing that Linda was inside, or that she was screaming at anyone over drugs or revenge...

So - I am not sure about any other aspect of her life, or situation- but as for the two key nights of this case- I believe what she said in court...

So....

Is driving to the scene of murder and driving the escape car + contributing to the commission of the crime by transporting carrying weapons- then participating in the destruction of evidence + not turning in the guilty until confronted, concealing the crime and fleeing the area= Jail time - ( with out without cooperation with the fuzz)??????

I could have lived with giving her a sawbuck on this one lol...

hippichick40 said...

Given that Linda never actually stuck a knife in anyone... possibly prevented another murder... and got the hell away from those people as soon as she had the chance... I tend to agree with Bugliosi's assertion that, "She was not cut from the same cloth" as the others.

Her participation in these crimes will continue to define her to the end of her days. I'm not sure what a jail sentence would have accomplished. I'm also not sure the others would've been convicted WITHOUT her testimony.

So, all in all, I think Linda has received the karma she deserves. No more, no less.

ST- i didn't say yana the good witch, i said good ole yana. just to clairify ; )

Anonymous said...

yana the good witch, to be compared with sk's totl glenda the bad witch blogger?

St. Circumstance said...

No evil C I caught that- was just thinking aloud the moral dilemma of trying to figure out this chics real intentions. I used to think she was pretty innocent in the big picture compared to most of the others, but keep hearing she was a bigger/ darker character than I am giving her credit for...

Was she a good witch, or a bad witch??

Hard for me to tell....

Stacey L. said...

I've always wondered why she didn't run to the next house down when she realized what was going on and get help...and even if she felt that was not safe to do, why did she go the second night knowing what would happen as ST said?

eviliz said...

Stacey- i always wondered that too. or even run and just keep running away from the murdering clan! she claims she feared for her childs life at that moment. so she couldnt run off or snitch.

but - the next day apparently she changed her mind leaving Tonya with the creepy crawl daycare. saying she knew her baby would be safe. idiot!

and Tonya ended up safely with a foster home.

St. Circumstance said...

Stacey and Liz- those are the exact reasons why I have to sort of have to listen a little to the ones who say she was more involved in the motive...

If she was so innocent and horrified- why did she do those exact things???

eviliz said...

AND- didn't she have the car keys or Tex left the keys in the car?

shit the minute i would have seen them vanish around the corner after doing in Steve Parent-
i would have squealed ten layers of rubber off of Swatrz's tires peeling out of there.

i would have driven back to the ranch, taking out several roaming and or sleeping Family members in my path. driven right INTO the cave my kid was hidden in, sprang open the driver's side door, and scooped up my baby-all while still driving one handed, never setting a foot out of the car or stopping the car!

and i might of even slowed down alittle and yelled "anyone who wants to leave- i hope you can jump into a moving car, dukes of hazzard style, cuz i ain't stoppin till we hit a police department.

but thats just me. : )~

thats what I would have done to get my child back.

eviliz said...

ST- i don't know. maybe she froze with fright? couldn't comprehend what was happening? was half buzzed out and thought she was hallucinating??? they say everyone reacts differently.

i don't think it was a burn between Linda and Voytek or -Tex and Jay.

i have mentioned this before here somewhere and on other boards and no one ever relied to this following question i asked~~~

in that interview of Linda on Larry King-Linda mentions after Tex shot Steven Parent dead, Tex told Linda to go to Parents car and take Parent's wallet.. she admits she did.

that is the FIRST time i ever heard that about her taking his wallet. anyone else notice that when she said it?

remember the police had no idea who Parent was? was it because Linda stole his wallet? what did she do with it? it was not in the toilet tank at that gas station with Rose Mary's wallet? it was not found with the weapons and clothes.

did the Parents ever say "hey my kid carries a wallet, where is it?" or maybe they did not know that about their son?

things we will never ever know.

you think that evil ugly bitch Sadie with her twat dripping green diseases- could have left a deathbed confession? cleared her conscience?

oh thats right, God already forgave her.

James has a(semi) new section up on Susan's site titled
Things Susan Didn't Want You To Know.

SUUURE she didn't want us to know. i think that if my husband was dying and said to me;

"Liz my one true love, the most sexiest perfect woman i ever saw in my life. you were much to good for me- and-HERE ARE SOME THINGS I NEVER EVER WANT ANYONE TO KNOW...." and preceded to tell me some stuff, i would not run right out and tell everyone (or in this case, post it on a web site). i would honor his wishes.

but again thats just me. :)~

St. Circumstance said...

I never heard that about Parents Wallet before...

I dont either as as far a drug burn- but she did do some really shady stuff, and I am with you as far as how she reacted in regards to her child and what your or any normal person would have done...

I saw that update as well on Sadies sight, and alot of people put this guy Whithead down, and maybe with good reason. I know nothing about him personally, and I have stated many times my feeling about people who start relationships with anyone in this family post incarceration... Lets just say I dont understand it...

For this guy to go from a trailer park to a law degree from Harvard is really an unbelievable accomplishment.. I mean jesus- the sacrifices he made for her, and the lengths he went to are incredible to me....

They dont give law degrees away at Harvard, and John Kennedy Jr. failed the bar more than once lol

This guy is no dope... although his choice of inspirations does leave a little to be desired...

He has to much intelligence to put such petty things out there- it seems like sour grapes- and he should have not been so lovestruck as to understand that when you choose Susan Atkins for a cause and wife- you may have to live your life the way you did...

ME-youtube it.

ST-I saw this guy Whithead

ME-its whiteHOUSE lol were you being silly or did you really think whitehead?

ST-For this guy to go from a trailer park to a law degree from Harvard

ME-he is still in his doublewide in the trailer park b.t.w.

ST-and he should have not been so lovestruck as to understand that when you choose Susan Atkins for a wife

ME-i might be wrong but i swear someone said James had a thing with one of the hillside stranglers girlfriends. the lady that was suppose to commit the copycat crime so her man could go free, but she got caught.
and ST- you are just jealous James got to Sadie before you did

eviliz said...

Hillside Stranglers girl friend was pre Sadie, obviously.

St. Circumstance said...

LOL I knew it was Whitehouse- but screwed up because Im drunk typing again..

Whitehead lol - you got me lol

Im jealous because monkey got to LULU before I did :)

Still in the trailer huh? Well, maybe he should have tried Yale???

There was an article about Sadie's husband I read online somewhere. I think it was originally in the LA weekly, but I'm probably wrong. He said he wrote to Sadie when he was young and in a bad place and she saved his life, so to speak. Guess that makes up for the ones she took.

beauders said...

yes it was me over at catscradle's blog that wrote of the romance between whitehouse(i've almost wrote whitehead myself several times)and veronica compton. she was in prison for attempting to murder a woman named kim breed in wa. state. she was doing the old copy-cat thing trying to free kenneth bianchi. they went so to sneak a sample of his semen out of the prison to place inside the victim. whitehouse started romancing her and they became engaged but something broke up the relationship. by the way compton was once a student of lawrence merrick and dated him. could she have murdered merrick, she did have a few screws loose, so who knows.

eviliz said...

weird all the Merrick connections.

ST- be glad monkey got her first. she would have been no good for you anyway!

Maybe Linda wasn't geeked up on dope like the others since she did the driving. And, if the others were half as stoned as Tex allegedly was, I don't know how they even made it up the driveway walking.

Marq Goldberg said...

Susan Atkins had a lot to say about LK's immunity in her book "The Myth Of Helter Skelter". In particular if LK is so sweet and innocent then why didn't she come forward in all the time after the left the family until after the others were arrested?

Steve's wallet was found on him. Its in the property report.

I see a lost soul but wrong is wrong she should have got jail time

Did anybody read James Whitehead's ' Things Susan Didn't Want You to Know ' section ? I'd like to know if it had anything of interest in it.

Unknown said...

So she wasnt totally innocent , but i agree, she was not cut from the same cloth. Thank God. I m sure she relives that night and doesnt need us to tell her anything.
