Hello again faithful readers! Eviliz has been busy with this n that: first Coachella, then Cannes, then her graduation ceremony from The School of Hard Knocks with a PhD in smartassedness (summa cum laude). In between all that, she chatted with friend of the blog Tyler Shields and asked him all of your questions about his upcoming project. You heard it here first: who loves ya, baby?

The first question which everyone is dying to know: Will Lindsay Lohan be playing Sharon Tate? If not, who will be playing Sharon?
(Unanswered! Dang it!)

Will Marilyn Manson play Tex Watson?
That was a rumor. He and I joked about it at a party. (It) would be cool if he did, but it was never planned.
(evilliz is very upset over this.)

Will Haley Webb play Susan Atkins?
She might. She's great but it all depends on who I cast as the lead girl.

Is Nick Stahl attached at all?
Nope

It is rumored that you will be playing Charles Manson. Is that true?
Yes that is the plan as of now.

Are there any actors or actresses who you would like to be in the movie but refused? If so, what were their reasons?
I think this movie certainly isn't for some people. But once they see how I am going to do it they will understand.

How important will it be to the look of your film to have actors and actresses who strongly physically resemble the charecters they are playing?
I would rather have someone who can do the scenes over the exact look.

What inspired you to do this movie?
I didn't want to do it at first but the more I got into it the more right it felt.

Are you going to film on any of the actual locations where the Manson Family lived? If not, what will be the location(s)?
Yes for sure we will be filming all over.

Are you in production yet, and is there an expected release date?
We are casting at the moment.

Can you share the source of your funding?
At the moment I can not.

Did you try contacting any of the actual Manson Family or any of the relatives of the victim's families? Did you try contacting Charlie himself? If so, what were the outcomes?
I have recieved a few death threats however not from the Manson Family but from anti Manson people.

Of all the Charles Manson songs why did you choose "Eyes of a Dreamer" as the title?
(It) just spoke out to me.

Will there be a sound track, and if so what artists do you have in mind?
Yes for sure Benji Hughes will be doing some original score.

Will the movie follow the "helter skelter" theory of the crimes or some other historical interpretation? We ask because another movie about Manson that is currently in the works sounds as if it will be more fiction than accepted fact?
This movie will be like no other Manson movie ever done.

What will be the "take away" of your film? What will viewers remember about it five or ten years after seeing it?
It's a family and the story is a family story. Just their Family.

Eyes of a Dreamer

I am very curious about the five movies related to The Family that are rumored to be in the works. I think I did a fair enough job interviewing Susanna about the 'Manson Girls'.  I just sent her the latest round of questions and will have an up-date soon.

Next up, I think, should be 'Eyes of a Dreamer,' since I could only find one article with any kind of description of the movie:
"The movie follows the Manson Family through their trail of carnage." That's it.

Lindsay Lohan-Eyes of a Dreamer, maybe not?

According to today's news Lindsay "klepto" Lohan was sentenced to 120 days in jail for violating her probation.  Judge Sautner remanded the actress into custody.  She was booked and taken to county jail.  Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley says she'll appeal the decision, which will allow the actress to post bail. They also changed her felony grand theft charge to a misdemeanor.  It's not clear yet how long Lindsay will be in custody before release.


Lohan was ordered to perform four hundred eighty hours of community service.  360 of those hours will be served at Downtown Woman's Center.  120 hours will be served at the L.A. County morgue  (I kid you not).


One of my sources at the morgue mentioned they are preparing for Lindsay's arrival by stocking up on super glue.  If any of the deceased arrive be-jeweled, the morgue attendants will begin the tedious task of gluing all jewelry to the deceased bodies as a precautionary measure.


Lindsay's pre-trial hearing is scheduled for May eleventh.  The trial begins on June third.  Shooting for Eyes of a Dreamer begins July fifteenth.  I reported yesterday they have no qualms of replacing her as Sharon Tate if her legal problems coincide with production.

 I noticed on their website two familiar names starring in the movie-Val Kilmer and Lea Thompson.
The site is not 100% finished.   Yet there is a trailer and shots of premier posters.

 Synopsis
In the summer of 1969, Jenna, a rebellious fifteen-year old girl, abandoned by her deadbeat single mom, steals a horse from her best friend's family and runs away from their loving arms.
Her naive and very square best friend follows her on another horse and the two girls stumble across the Manson family living in an abandoned movie ranch.

There is not much info about this movie, just rumors.  The only description I can find is,the movie follows the Manson Family through their trail of carnage.
Tyler Shields is producing as well as starring as Charlie.  I think he wrote it as well.  Shields is a celebrity photographer and a good friend of Lindsay Lohan.  According to gossip, shooting will start July 15, 2010. 
But-  Linsay Lohan has court at the end of this month.  There is the potential she might have to serve some prison time for her habitual kleptomania.  If that happens, she will be replaced.   Marilyn Manson is rumored to be playing Tex.

Update on Manson Girls- I spoke to Susanna again a few days ago.  They are currently shooting in L.A. and Puerto Rico.  I mentioned some rumors going around that her movie would not be made.  She assured me it is being made as we speak.

"I will be making my directorial debut from a script I wrote," Kosar told STYD.  "The movie won't focus on the Manson murders.  Nor is it a Manson biopic.  It's a family biopic.  A movie about a surrogate family of wayward teenagers who, through extraordinary circumstances, came together and were transformed into the most notorious American family of the 20th century.  Hence the title"
He continued: "it is not a horror film, though the subject is inherently horrific.  The goal is to do, finally,after forty years, the first authentic film about the so-called Manson Family.  Unlike other films on the subject, 'The Family' will also spend time getting to know the victims, particularly Sharon Tate, who will be portrayed very sympathetically.  This won't be a slasher film, but it won't gloss over the violence either.  My film will concern the family itself.  Who they were and what their lives were like with Manson."

The film will take on the case of singer Bobby Fuller, (I fought the law) whose death, though ruled a suicide,raised suspicion of foul play and potentially murder.  The script, which is yet to be written, will focus on the allegations that Manson and his family were behind the murder.  Michael C. Hall will pay one of Fullers managers, while Melissa Leo takes on the role of a former Manson family member.

Totally not related but I had to add Jim because - he is sexy and, my cousin owns this actual mug shot. My cousin used to be a cop in New Haven, CT. Upon being transferred out of New Haven, my cousin "borrowed" the original mugshot. Jim was arrested in New Haven for starting a riot. He showed his penis, the cops tore him off the stage to take him down to the station for exposing himself. The show was cancelled mid way and, the concert goer's rioted. Marilyn Manson himself has also been arrested for waving his penis around on stage. What is this world coming to if musicians can't wave their penis around on stage?

Lindsay Lohan may have a new role, playing Sharon Tate in an upcoming film about Charles Manson and the infamous Manson family murders.

Lohan’s new venture is set to be directed by celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, who is rumored to be playing Manson, according to Popcrunch.com. Brad Wyman will be producing the film.

This could be a possible comeback for the troubled actress who has suffered a career lull in recent years, along with rehab and a whole lot of trouble with the law.

Sharon Tate was a well-known actress in the ’60s, probably best known for her starring role in the controversial film Valley of the Dolls, a role that later earned her a Golden Globe nomination.

Tate married director Roman Polanski one year before she was murdered on August 9, 1969 by Manson’s gang in Beverly Hills, while she was eight months pregnant.

The film is rumored to be titled "Eyes of a Dreamer" a song written by Charles Manson.
