FINAL Mondays w/Nancy 2 for 1 special

This first pic was posted some place else before with the caption about now it is lazyboys and martinis. This pic was taken at an expo. Not sure if she bought the chair or just gave it a test drive. I never realized how tiny she is.

This really is the last one. We had a good run. So tonight, have a cocktail, smoke a blunt, stay sober whatever your thing is.

Have one to celebrate for Nancy and her new life.

I wish her well on her journey as well. And to the girls who spent a lifetime at California Institute for Women, who are no more a risk to society than Nancy, Cappy, Gypsy, Mary or any of them really....Merry Christmas.

The above comments were alcohol-fueled and do not really reflect my precise point of view. The Monforts, despite being murderers, do not pass their criminal genes onto their offspring. Conclusively.

my dad once told me, as we were watching a guy who was obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed try to help his son un-tangel a kite string... ( the son was obviously as clueless as the dad they struggled with it forever)

"When you plant corn- you get corn"

My dad used to lower is head and mutter as he slowly shook his head in his eastern european accent, "there are all kinds of people in the world ... all kinds".

Matt/Liz this is unrelated but maybe interesting to you...

Jerry Garcia’s life is coming to the big screen. While it hasn’t been determined who will play the late Grateful Dead leader (Zach Galifianakis? Jeff Bridges?), director Amir Bar-Lev has been selected to direct a biopic based on Robert Greenfield’s Dark Star: An Oral Biography on Jerry Garcia. The film will focus on Garcia’s formative years, before he joined the Dead and became a cultural icon. Garcia’s days as bluegrass and folk musician and his relationship with his father will be the focus.
Greenfield tells Rolling Stone: “All the seeds of his life and the formative influences that came through his music with the Dead, ¬ everything is there, the childhood, the death of his father, the way he grew up. You see him at the crossroads of his life.”
The script will be handled by Dungeons & Dragons scribe Topper Lillien. No word yet on whether the actor playing Garcia will have to chop off one of his fingers for the role.
“After a certain point, everyone had their own vision of Jerry” says Greenfield. “This film is about who he really was before people made him what they wanted him to be. I think a lot of that has been lost in the legend and the myth that has grown since his death.”

Looking at early pictures of Nancy, I figured her chin would have curled up toward her nose by now, but I was wrong. The girl looks good.

I see she still likes hippie garments - that bag and the tie-dyed blouse...She has aged well - quite different from her youth images (any job done?) but still beautiful!
