Friend of the Blog Jeff K wrote to Patty on January 2 to let her know that he got his money back from Auction Doctors. They are the company that ran Susanna Lo's ebay auctions for walk-on roles in the ill-fated Manson Girls movie. See here for the rest of the story.

Jeff wrote: "So Todd from Auction Doctors contacted me today and gave me back all my money through Paypal. Thank you, I feel like your blog post helped me out a lot with this. If you feel like posting an update about the case that would be great. Todd did the right thing. He was scammed out of $17,000 by Susanna Lo and will never get that money back. But at least he made things right with me. Happy New Year, Jeff"

Complaint: 
Susanna Lo sold walk-on roles in a movie called "Manson Girls". She sold them for 2,000 each in an Ebay auction in January of 2012. The financing for the film fell apart nearly two years ago and the movie is never going to be made but she refuses to refund the money. She is a shady person and a pathological liar.  Please do not get involved with her or invest money in her imaginary film projects. 

Rebuttal: 
Susanna Lo, Slomotion Studios LLC (as opposed to "SLOMO" listed in this false claim), and anyone connected to Manson Girls the film, never sold walk-on roles for any of the projectss they are connected to. Jeff Kane, the creator of this false claim, has been blocked and flagged by Facebook, IMDB, Wikipedia and all members of the Slomotion Studios LLC team for breaking into our various websites and attempting to alter the facts on the sites, along with posting defamatory comments not acceptable by these sites. A libel suit is currently being filed against him.

That's not true.  I haven't been banned from any of those sites. I have a receipt from an ebay purchase that proves Susanna Lo charged me $1,995 for a walk on role in Manson Girls even though this film is never going to be made. She recently tried to raise money on Indiegogo for a film called Rabid.  She wanted 200,000 but only managed to raise 50 dollars. She not only scams people out of money but then she has the nerve to lie about them and threaten to sue them for defamation. How is it defamation if I can prove you scammed me out my money?  I welcome a lawsuit. You barely have enough money to feed and clothe yourself, how could you possibly afford a lawyer?

Oh, dear. This is getting messy, isn't it?

A  reader recently wrote in to let us know how his experience bidding on eBay for a walk on
role in Susanna Lo's Manson Girls:

Hi, I came across your blog entry on Susanna Lo and the Manson Girls movie. She scammed me out of 2,000 dollars by selling a walk on role in the film. She is still refusing to refund me the money. The financing of the film fell apart almost two years ago and she is still maintaining an IMDB.com page and listing all these famous actors as being in the movie even though they aren’t involved. I have screen captures of the auction I bought and I have emails from the guy who ran the auction detailing all the issues with Susanna Lo. I also have an email from the manager of  (an actress) where he says (she) was no longer involved with the film because financing fell apart. But Susanna still keeps her listed as one of the people starring in the film.

I really wish it didn't have to be that way but I guarantee that no one will ever invest a dime with her for the rest of her life when we are done. This is my personal email address so if you need to reach me. We may want to include you in the law suite (sic) if that's ok with you. We just want to get everyone's money back including ours. She has repeatedly told anyone who has money tied up with her that she is filming or will start up again, saying that over and over. Well! How rude, huh? Patty confirmed that "the Actress" is no longer listed on the IMDb record accessed on 10/23 (above) . Susanna is making friends all over, it seems. Perhaps she earned some bad karma by not sending Liz the T-shirt she promised? ooEEoo

Where's "The Manson Girls?"

gJg: Is there a release date for “Manson Girls“?

 I noticed on their website two familiar names starring in the movie-Val Kilmer and Lea Thompson.
The site is not 100% finished.   Yet there is a trailer and shots of premier posters.

There is not much info about this movie, just rumors.  The only description I can find is,the movie follows the Manson Family through their trail of carnage.
Tyler Shields is producing as well as starring as Charlie.  I think he wrote it as well.  Shields is a celebrity photographer and a good friend of Lindsay Lohan.  According to gossip, shooting will start July 15, 2010. 
But-  Linsay Lohan has court at the end of this month.  There is the potential she might have to serve some prison time for her habitual kleptomania.  If that happens, she will be replaced.   Marilyn Manson is rumored to be playing Tex.

Update on Manson Girls- I spoke to Susanna again a few days ago.  They are currently shooting in L.A. and Puerto Rico.  I mentioned some rumors going around that her movie would not be made.  She assured me it is being made as we speak.

The film will take on the case of singer Bobby Fuller, (I fought the law) whose death, though ruled a suicide,raised suspicion of foul play and potentially murder.  The script, which is yet to be written, will focus on the allegations that Manson and his family were behind the murder.  Michael C. Hall will pay one of Fullers managers, while Melissa Leo takes on the role of a former Manson family member.

 I recently exchanged a few e-mails with Susanna Lo.
 Below are the question some of you wanted me to ask her. 

Q.) Did you consult with or speak to any of THE  "original Manson girls" for the film?  Or any family members/friends of the victims? 

 A.) I started to on-line, then decided against it.  First off, I'm not making a documentary or writing a non-fiction book, I'm making a narrative film with my personal vision.  Secondly, there were so many different versions to any one single event, it became difficult to tell which was the "correct" version.  Of course, all versions have their own  validity to the person it comes from, much like the Kursawa movies, Rashomon.  Ultimately, I made a choice as a writer/director, then set about on a mission to prove my choice wrong.  It was tough to dis-prove my choice, then I stuck with it as my best assessment of the events from almost 42 years ago.  Keep in mind, not only was this a long time ago, but there were a lot of drugs circulating at the time; and the people the people that were involved in these events were very very young back in the Summer of Love.  I'm sure there were some "rose colored glasses" involved to the memories.

Q.) Who specifically is funding the film?

A.)  We are funded through a combination of international
pre sale and private funders, but we're still looking for more
to have our full $5 million budget.

Q.) Have you ever met producer/director Don Murphy?

A.) No, I have not met Don Murphy.  Loved Bully and Natural Born Killers.  Happy to be introduced to him by anyone!

   Dayton Knoll to play Dennis Wilson in Manson Girls.  He is best know for his role in"Get Him To The Greek".  Which is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

Updates-books and movies

1.) Robert Hendrickson contacted me today
with an update on his book. They have selected a title to incorporate into the cover design and, the finished product will be going to the printers next week or so. I asked him if he would tell me the book's title and I am waiting to hear back from him.

2.) Sussana Lo contacted me today also. I made an error in reporting the filming location and date. Here is the update from Sussana. I am impressed-she read the blog and the question section I put up. I didn't think she really would come visit.

Thanks for the post on your blog. Only one small point, we're shooting in Los Angeles in April, not Louisiana in February. Thanks!

Regarding "middle age" actors - Dan Velez and Sherrie Henderson at Dream Big Casting are handling the additional speaking parts, and yes, there are plenty of roles for the parents of the girls. We ask for a reel, to see your acting ability, what you look like and your age are less important. So feel free when Breakdowns come out in February to send a reel. I do look at most of them. And... I'm in my mid-forties and still consider myself a kid.

Earlier today I spoke with Susanna Lo.  Got a really good low down on the Manson Girls movie.  It begins filming  in L.A. April 2011.


Things you wanted to know from Susanna Lo.  I posted the best parts for everyone.



Hi Liz,   The thing I want to point out the most is that Manson Girls is not the same project that Matthew Bright and Lindsay Lohan was attached to. I wrote this script over four years ago. My script doesn't deal with Nancy Pittman at all. It takes place during the girls' teenage years and follows several of them to Spahn Ranch and ends a minute before the Tate/LaBianca murders. I was much more fascinated with telling the girls' story, and not Manson's or Bugliosi's stories. I wanted to know how so many young girls were seduced into this situation and why.


FYI: Associated Press has invited me and the actors in Manson Girls for a Press Conference/Launch Event at The Gibson Guitar Lodge during the Sundance Film Festival, on January 24th. They'll be streaming the conference live on AP Live and Warner Brothers Music site. And a couple of The Doobie Brothers will be performing original music they wrote for Manson Girls. So you can also find out what the actors involved have to say about the project.

I will be keeping in contact with her as things progress.  Any questions you want me to ask her?   I set up a section for that.

Why have a blog if all you are going to do is copy articles?
