Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures

The Travel Channel launches their new season of Ghost Adventures with a visit to Cielo Drive.  That area of Benedict Canyon is said to possess a geomagnetic anomaly conducive to the spirit world.  Yawn.  You may sense that I'm not a believer!  I'm guessing this show will either be marginally entertaining, not in the way intended to, or it will make you cringe at the lengths people will go to to make a buck.

The venerable Robin Leach contributes THIS error ridden article to the Las Vegas Sun announcing the series premier.  The show airs at 9 PM tonight, Saturday February 15th with Zak Bagans and his cohosts Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin.

Significance of crime scene/morgue photos

What is the significance of posting crime scene/morgue photos of the Tate/LaBianca victims? Do you think it is disrespectful to post such photos on blogs, websites & forums, or is it necessary for people that continue to study these cases? Some people have asked "why study a case that was solved over 40 years ago?" Was it truly solved? Do we really know what happened? I started thinking about this in great detail, and came to the conclusion that these awful, morbid, sickening photos MUST exist for several reasons, and morbid curiosity is not one of them.  If anything, the reason these photos are on the Internet for the world to see is so people don't forget the brutality of these murders. Also, matching up evidence seen in the crime scene photos with witness/perpetrator accounts can help researchers have a better understanding of the sequence of events. What do you think, dear readers? Should the crime scene/morgue photos be on the Internet, or should they be taken down? We'd love to hear your opinions on the matter!

Update! The House At The End Of The Drive

We seek to raise funds for a L.A. Sneak Peak of
“HOUSE AT THE END OF THE DRIVE” on August 7, 2013.

The Anniversary of the Manson Murders August 9th.

Ghost stories…  We’ve heard them for decades and they’re a dime a dozen in Hollywood where every mansion and storefront has a link to a restless spirit.   But can a thirty-six year old murder haunt four people enough to rip open a doorway to the past and catapult them back in time to a horrible night of ritual slaughter?  It can if they live two doors down from the House at the End of the Drive.
In part based on the actual experiences of its producer who lives near the site of the original Sharon Tate murder house of 1969, House at the End of the Drive is a terrifying horror thriller about a group of people who live near a famous murder site and via a time vortex, are then transported back to the night of the original killings.  The twist: they materialize as the soon-to-be victims of the massacre.
