I guess she had fond memories of leaving a bloody footprint at the Tate house the night her, and her pals decided to slaughter a bunch of innocent people, including a VERY-pregnant woman! Her footprints in blood must of been such an inspiration for this piece! This little work of art says this at the bottom:
"Anyone you know who would like to receive these monthly (something) from me, have them write to The Dove's Nest, P.O. Box 1326, San Juan Capistrano, Ca 92692-1326." I couldn't read what the description said after the word "monthly."
Why, doesn't the widower Whitehouse (her husband) live in San Juan Capistrano, California? Were they profiting off of her notoriety? I just don't know! I do know she used to send out monthly "Christian" newsletters from her cell, which she called "The Dove's Nest." In my opinion, this is one of the sickest things I have ever seen. No wonder she never was released. By the way, I saw this at murderauction.com. Here is the link:

Yikes, not my taste. Perhaps had Sadie done a series of writing in blood...oh that's right she already did that.
If you're asking "Why, DOES the widower Whitehouse (her husband) live in San Juan Capistrano, California?"
He does live in San Juan Capistrano. Right next to Highway 5 in a trailer park. It's a couple miles from Dana Point.
It reminds me of the time Sadie said her feet were so infected and oozing with gonorrhea she could not wear shoes. ewww Imagine what her down town looked like?
The audacity this woman had to make these bloody footprints, then turn around and tell the parole board that she she was appalled that she could of been involved in something like the murders is beyond my understanding. Clearly Glutz was, and always was sorry that she got caught, nothing more. Remember, this is the same woman who had her attorney (Debra Frazier) blaming the victims for their own deaths on national television.
Mr. Spud, I know Whitehouse lives in San Juan Capistrano. I didn't write that sentence to sound like I didn't know. Know what I mean? It was to sound sarcastic in the posting. "Why, doesn't the widower Whitehouse live in San Juan Capistrano?" Not "Why does the widower Whitehouse live in San Juan Capistrano?" Haha...it sounds better when you say it actually. :-)
Wow, I could almost see something like this being crafted in some vacuum, or an abandoned mine shaft where there wasn’t access to social validation. So I’m to surmise the bloody feet were created in the controlled environment of a prison? How many people were involved in the chain of custody which ended in this piece of art?
That’s just too much for my suspension of disbelief. Did the husband produce this thing and sell it as “art” created by Atkins, where created means - did nothing? Or was this the most benign of a series of items which were so morose, as to make the bloody feet appear whimsical? If this is a product of rehabilitation, then every parole should be cancelled until the DOC staff has been certified as normal, by having them identify 400 pound gorillas in a room. I’m missing something here.
Are they bloody feet, or feet of clay?
Well, the seller is calling them bloody. Interesting that he or she is in Bermuda, of all places.
Here’s the originator of the art for auction:
Redrum Autographs
I tried and failed to link the Atkins page. You will have to click the “Art Collections” hypertext on the upper left of the page. Then try to suppress the onset of an epileptic seizure while scrolling to Atkins, or use the Ctrl F/Find on this page search, to arrive at her entry. Who makes these websites with such awe inspiring fonts and color contrasts? I’m just getting old.
Now the “bloody feet of Satan’s child of sex and drugs and stuff” is on display with the handwritten card on sale ($169.99) lower down. The print is easier (not much) to read and the mystery word is “letters”, again that’s “letters”. So it would appear that these two items are being connected via artificial means, which sort of explains why the print on the card appears as a non sequitur. The provenance of the feet is not very precise here. I’m so surprised.
There is a lady in Death Valley Junction, Ca who was Susan's "Art therapist" and apparently she has some of her art that she would show off at galleries. I am wondering if this came from that collecion.
Nevermind, I see "Bermuda."
Also, the stamp "manson family original" - wasn't that a stamp Michael Channels put on his collection?
Hey Dooger...is the "therapist" Marta Beckett, perchance?
