I can't even begin to imagine what Doris and Paul went through... Especially Paul going to the hearings and learning first-hand what happened to his daughter. I completely understand Doris not being able to attend the trial.

This is truly heart wrenching to watch. I don't believe people fathom just how much suffering the families of the victims endured. Their sorrow, which was tortured anguish 24 hours a day, seven days a week never freakin ended, ever! This is why, over the years, I've never been a fan of anything having to do with Manson or his flea bag "family!"
The trial was a horror show. The evidence and testimony was horrific on its own, and the ridiculous antics orchestrated by Charlie just compounded that. I don't know how the families were able to sit through that to see justice done.
I hope we can have a discussion about the trial theatrics sometime.
