The woman below we think is an artist named Nancy Davis who tried to capitalize on the trial publicity.

She is briefly mentioned in Sanders book "The Family" on page 339 (I think chapter 80 or 81). Anybody know anything more about her? Click the link for the pic's.

Bad Blogger

I have busy here with personal stuff.  Got another foot of snow last night, been digging out.   Sorry for no new posts and being a bad comment moderator.  Back in business now!

We are planning lots of good posts for 2011.  And yes we still have all those recent photo's of Family members to post.  No announcing who and when this time.  You will just have to keep watching.  We all know what happened last time.  I received that request from Stephanie's daughter to please not show recent pic's of her mom.  I honored that request.  My evil is shrinking as I age.  If I keep telling when and who I am posting, and peoples family keep contacting me, I won't have anything left to post.

There are also a few short stories by Bobby, which appear to be chapters from his long awaited book which he calls
"a work in progress".  Everything above is listed in the 'Chronicles' section.
There is also a cheesy magazine article
titled The Manson Myth by Dennis Noe.
When referring to Bruce Davis, the author calls him
Gary Davis.   Why?

I have a small hatred of Wikipedia and have slapped Matt around in the past for quoting from it.

Cancer from Spahn's Ranch?

I remember reading or hearing somewhere about Family members getting cancer from being at Spahn's.  Susan, Como (was he at Spahn's ever?) and Ansom.  I researched my little heart out and can not find anything but this.
It seems that there was a location near Spahn's that leaked hazerdous materials into the ground.  I might be wrong, don't quote me.

Dennis Rice IS dying.

Thanks to Anonymous for the tip.  You are correct.  Dennis Rice is dying from liver cancer.  
Here is a quote from the article -  "In May, Rice said he was diagnosed with liver cancer and his doctor gave him six to nine months, and at most, a year to live."

Mr. Bruce Davis, his wife and teen daughter.



If released, Davis says he wants to live in Grover Beach with his wife and daughter. During his years in prison, Davis earned a masters and a Ph.D. in religion and hopes to work with a local church.
