Satans Slaves Motorcycle Club

Weve had the question asked in the past about what may have happened to the Satans Slaves Motorcycle Club. This question normally has come up when discussing Joe Dorgan. Well, it looks like we finally know:
Thank you for visiting our website. Hells Angels SFV was founded Jan 1st of 1978. We are very proud of our heritage as this charter was originally the Satans Slaves M/C. We still have active charter members in SFV that go back in the Slaves as far as the mid 60's.

Thanks to Trilby for the tip

Are Satan's Slaves and Straight Satans 2 different gangs, or did they just use different names for the same gang?

Don't know anything about biker clubs, but I've heard this explained to LAPD by one of the Straight Satans members. The Straight Satans and Satan Slaves were 1% clubs. They were different clubs, but they, along with a few other clubs, all worn 1% patches and wouldn't fight among eachother. So they were different but somewhat united

Interesting...some original members are still around. Patty'd love to be a fly on the wall...

So, am I to gather that the Hell's Angels is like Vonnegut's RAMJAC corporation, eating up everything in it's path?

They are the biggest and most notorious. Everyone knows The Angels: a mark of legitimacy and authenticity like Levi's, Frisbee and Coca Cola. Sort of.

Satan's Slaves were patched over, helping to grow the SFV chapter. There are additional chapters in San Bernadino and Ventura, as well as several more throughout California.

While the HA's are the most recognizable, their main rivals are the Mongols, the Pagans, and a few others.

Back in the day I was a patch holder in a 1% club. The 1% means more than the usual explanation we hear about the 99% being law abiding motorcyclist and 1% being criminals. Most outlaw clubs that aren't 1% clubs are support clubs of 1% clubs. A 1% club supports no club but themselves. Example, if I wanted to start a new club I would have to go to the dominant 1% club in my area and get permission. If I didn't have permission I would expect to get 'shut down'. Getting shut down could be anything from just getting your patches taken to being taxed. Taxed usually means you're getting an ass kicking and being forced to sign over you motorcycle.
I was there for the partying and the girls. I was only there for about a year. When I found out the truth about the lifestyle I also valued my freedom and got out.

To add to my above post, some support clubs are expected to dirty work for the 1% club that they support. Some support clubs are expected to pay dues to the 1% club that they support.

I never quite fit in with the biker crowd, but I was once chased by the Twin Rivers moped gang in the 8'th grade...

I had a burgundy Puch Maxi-Luxe,and I was quite a site to see cruising around the neighborhood at top speeds of 35MPH in my black members only jacket and my Ray Ban Wayfarers..

My parents wouldn't let me get a tatoo though

I was speaking to a friend Bandito- well an excoworker- about the Straight Satans and the Satan's Slaves and he told me they dissolved into the Hell's Angels. I thought he was talking out of his ass- maybe he was- but it seems to be true, at least for the Satan's Slaves.

Several years ago I was at a taco stand in Hemet, California, and had just ordered, when the Satan's Slaves rolled in for lunch. There were maybe 40 of them, ranging in age from their early 20s to a couple who were possibly in their 70s. I was surprised how clean-cut and non-threatening they were, relatively speaking. One of them held the door open for me when I left with my order. I briefly considered asking them if they had any good Charlie stories, but (probably wisely) decided not to.

my dad was in the straight Satan's they sure as hell did not fall in with the hells angels..they were 1% so that makes no sense they were one of the first real established mc's out there my uncles "or club brothers" were good men my dad was as well..and backed there shit up to the fullest...I went too many funerals as a young girl..from rival gangs attacks..my pops hes the president of another club...my name sake Christoper im Christina died the day i was born basically the original 1% killed each other off some remain few riding in the wind.

ogmajik said...

ok my dad was a original founder of the straight Satan's. They are most defiantly not the same club. I can assure you the straight Satan's did not join up with the hells angels. I can tell you as a young girl i went to many funerals from rivals gangs killing members..(they killed each other off in time)im sure they had funerals as well...some of the original 1% Satan's went to prison. those that are alive are few. The right to be called a 1% member is earned not just gained cause you join a MC with 1% in there history...i want to say these are good men and its a subculture you cant understand unless you live it.

Thanks for dropping in, OG. What Patty appreciates about biker culture is that they seem to have a very strong code of ethics and behavior. It is much different from that of the mainstream, but Patty does believe that bikers can be honorable people. Peace.

I've always wanted to find out information about an incident that occurred in the early or mid 60s in Rowland Heights, but probably called Puente back then. A group of bikers and their wives/girlfriends lived in home on Pocatello Ave. A neighbor who lived their during that time said they wore balls and chains on their ankles. They were finally evicted after many complaints with the neighbors. My father read an article in the local newspaper about an incident involving Satan's Slaves bikers that lived there. One of them went to where they were building homes, and a security guard shot and killed one of them. Does anyone know or remember anything about the bikers that lived on Pocatello Ave. during the 60s?

I was member of a 1% club for a couple years a long time ago. The incident about the ball and chain...... I suspect that either it's made up OR these guys were not patch holders with any 1% club. Despite what those TV documentaries tell us most outlaw and 1% patch holders are expected to treat their women with respect. Basically, if you can't give your wives and girlfriends safety and security you are considered useless to that club and you'd probably and you'd most likely get a warning and if it keeps on happening they'll pull your patch. Another possibility is that it was an incident involving some kinky stuff they were all into. In that subculture sexually abusing or raping a woman will get you beat up, patch taken, and taxed (forced to sign over your motorcycle pink slip to the club. It's considered barely a cut above child molestation in that life style.....

They patched over to the Pagans in a an area ruled by the Red And White?
If true I wonder what the thinking was there. In my opinion either they didn't think this one through or they were on some heavy duty drugs.....
