I like this pic of Spahns because it is from very high up. You are actually looking down onto the roadbed on the boulder strewn hill above the ranch. This must have been the highlight for any weekend horseback rider at Spahns when they reached that point in the ride..
There is a pile of boulders across the road from where Main Street was. From the view point, it looks as if they were standing on these boulders. To bad it's not in color.
