The Broken Wings and The Itchy Crotch

Saladin Nader was a Lebanese actor that starred in The Broken Wings, the movie about poet Kahlil Gibran.  Nader once picked up Linda Kasabian and Sandy Good hitchhiking and took them back to his Venice Beach apartment and had sex with Linda while Sandy took a nap on the couch.  On the night of the LaBianca murders, Charlie dropped off Linda, Sadie and Clem near Nader's apartment with instructions to kill him and then hitchhike back to Spahn's Ranch.  According to Kasabian, she purposely brought Sadie and Clem to the wrong door and the mission was aborted.

I wonder what Saladin thought when he saw Linda on t.v. after the murders.
I also wonder which S.T.D Linda gave him.

Eviliz pontificates: “I wonder what Saladin thought when he saw Linda on t.v. after the murders.”

Indeed, what thoughts would run through a man’s head?

a) Just as well you spend your life in prison, as that would be preferable to a life without any Saladin.

b) Of course she wanted to kill me, and deny all womanhood some Saladin.

c) She took the suggestion of a three way, with the one on the couch, way too hard.

d) The picture quality on this Muntz must be hazy; I remember that Linda chick looking like a Playboy bunny.

e) I’m so profoundly embarrassed and ashamed, that it actually hurts when I pee.

f) I’ve learned a valuable lesson about life, and will use this experience to guide my actions in the future, and consider the downstream consequences of my choices, when a pair of total strangers, are invited into my home resulting in the potential cause and circumstance of an unpleasant demise. That is primarily if we are talking about women, and they are ugly, then yeah, that’s what I would do. I would think a little more, before having them enter my apartment and taking them to heaven and back. So I’ve learned a lot about whatever. I wonder what’s on channel 6?

I think that pretty much covers every thought, every man would have should he discover himself in a similar situation.

Ok, so realistically, I believe he was called as a witness to testify that he did indeed live in the apt building and that he did indeed pick up Linda and whomever hitchhiking, and that he did indeed have sex with Linda...etc...

So, depending on the dates of the subpoena, he may not have been surprised at all.

He was interviewed by detectives in spring of '70, but never testified because he moved and LAPD couldn't locate him.

Linda sure liked to f*ck everyone back then. Did she even know who fathered her second child? It could of been Tex, Charlie, Clem, Bruce, Saladin, or even her husband. WOW! He was probably was thanking his lucky stars that she didn't knock on his apt that night. They for sure would of killed him. That is why I have always thought she should of been in jail with the others. She wasn't innocent. She could of prevented the LaBiancas from being killed, if she would of alerted the authorities the night of the Tate murders.

Sorry all. My last comment should have read: Saladin looks too ethnic for Charlie to have approved of his getting it on with Linda. I wonder when he found out.

Apparently he was in another movie in 1973 titled Embassy.
You can also purchase his autograph at

From what I can tell he is still alive.

Liz,
Thanks, apparently you and I have been surfing the same sites. Did you come across the Saladin Nader who lives in Washington D.C.?
I haven't done the math but his age seems close.
