Charles Manson sings to his favorite girl!

In my opinion, Manson did have a favorite girl, and that girl was, of course, Miss Lynette Fromme aka Squeaky aka Red. Here is a song he wrote/sang for her called "Walking Through Forever (Ode to Red)" Could there be any hidden meanings or messages in this song? Well, you be the judge. Here is a clip, along with the lyrics:

Charles Manson - Walking Through Forever (Ode to Red)
I know that you are doing well
I’m glad to see that you got out of the hole
I hear through a gig that you got
Ways of getting vegetables and food
Where you’re at
Everybody here seems to be stuck on flesh
Flesh eaters
So, I don’t know whether I’ll be able
To get this tape to you
But I’m just sitting here thinking about you all, anyway
Cause, there ain’t nothing else to do
And anywhere I go, I know I’m you
And I keep turning back and forwards into myself
And every day I keep on growing
And my love for you I keep on saying
I know your love for me will keep on weighing
Judgment of a judgment of a judgment
That you thought was up above
You remember that line, Love?
I was walking in the darkness
I was dreaming in my night
Up on the highway with the Kings
And down through the fight
I was in the icepick’s corners
And all those places you could see
In your mind
From war’s door, I’ve always been
Mastermind’s what I’m thinking of
Down through one’s are the sum of none’s
That keep my words up on the wall
And I keep on walking in my forever
And I keep living in my dreams
I see you, Red
Oh, Red, how you doing, Red?
You better not get too fat, girl
I know you gave up a little bit
And you kind of ate a little bit too much
But I was Blue’s fool
Lone bees jumping on school’s rule books
Like, how you doing, kid?
You know they kept it where they kept it hid
I keep on with my forevers in my forever’s dream
And in knowing one’s all is always in the one it seems
Back through my eye’s forever
Broken, laying there on the floor
Son was wishing for wishing wells
And wishing wells were silver, too
The silver wells of something that smells
That fell down to Hell with you
And you keep on walking in my forever
And living in my dreams
Let me take mine back and give it to you
My, my word is only my word
And my word has always been true to you

My apologies for being off topic but, I'm a little bit confused. Can someone tell me, at exactly what time the world is going to end tomorrow?

Finally; an ‘Ode’ to a woman has been written, which represents her true core and eternal soul.

I got chills at knowing she has “ways of getting vegetables and food”. Both, vegetables AND food.

Could there be more? In the next stanza he proclaims “I’m just sitting here thinking about you…” That’s devotion to be sure. He then closes the thought with:

“Cause, there ain’t nothing else to do.” Simply beautiful, no wonder he has such a loyal following.

Certainly couldn’t compare to this sort of tripe:

My Pledge of Love

What sort of abomination was that? Where was the mention of vegetables or weight gain? Would it have killed Mr. Jeffrey to have included a tuber or legume as part of his faux proclamation of affection towards a woman? What self respecting lady wants to hear a ballad, which has been denuded of the very mention of how she seeks and finds food?

Then there’s this amateurish and hackneyed attempt at love laced art:

Twilight Time

Was that even in English? “Here, in the afterglow of day, we keep our rendezvous beneath the Blue?”

No mention of her getting fat or eating too much, just some sort of feaky code-speak, which twins might understand or those who are fluent in Esperanto.

It’s patently clear where the lyrical and musical genius resides. These other groups are nothing more than posers. Now those haunting lyrics will be stuck in my head all day:

“You better not get too fat, girl.
I know you gave up a little bit,
And you kind of ate a little bit too much.
But I was Blue’s fool.”

When was this written? I assume not too too long ago with the line about getting out of the hole.

I think I first heard this song around 2003, 2004. It has always stuck out me as far as Manson's best tune.

Yeah farf the lyrics written down like a poem are not very impressive. But the way he puts it together is kinda catchy. Patty has to say that this is one of her favorite Manson songs. Up there with "Don't do anything illegal."

Patty wonders if Red were allowed to visit Charlie: would she move back to Cali, or is she just "over it" now?

Hi Patty!
Same here. Doesnt she have a boyfriend?

@Lauren: Thats the word, but she's been so quiet and that was some time ago. Patty only recently learned that Sandy and George split up...

The mention of the Kings...in an interview I saw with Manson, he briefly mentioned something about an altercation with some kind of gang and I am sure Kings was mentioned too. It was o do with Tex. About how Charlie had rescued him or something. But then he clammed up, and said something like "I know stuff you dont know"

I wonder who the Kings are...

Lynn hit a croatian plane hijacker on the head - her name was Julienne Busic. Patty'd love to have been a fly on the wall...
