Satan's Sadists Filmed at Spahn Ranch

Satan's Sadists was the second to the last movie filmed at Spahn Ranch before the fire that destroyed it.  The last movie, of course, was Robert Hendrickson's Manson.

The movie starred Russ Tamblyn who was also in another movie filmed at Spahn, The Female Bunch.  We did a few posts on that one, here , here and here .

Also in the film was Regina Carroll who, after the arrests for the Tate LaBianca murders, had some choice things to say about the Family and their actions at the time of the filming.  That article can be read at CieloDrive .  It's a good article that I wasn't able to find elsewhere online.

Supposedly Shorty can be seen in this film but according to Chatsworth Charlie who sent me the link to the movie, he couldn't find Shorty.

The movie was released June 1, 1969.

Thanks Chats!

"Are they going to say he was a kind man? He was a wise man? He was an expert on motors and was the perfect one to fix our dune buggy?" ~ Apocolypse Now... sort of.

Deb, when I sent you this I mentioned I was watching "Wanda The Satanic Hypnotist"
It was that film that supposedly had Shorty in it (according to this site)
I couldn't find him in that either.
Sorry for the confusion.

Regina looked like a $2.00 whore and she had enough nerve to talk about Charlie's girls.

Today we would call this a "synchronicity," like that episode of the "Lone Gunmen" TV show where the terrorists plan to fly a plane into the twin towers--aired before 9/11!
Two months before actress Sharon Tate and four others were murdered in her Hollywood Hills mansion, scenes for a motorcycle gang picture were being shot at the drab Spahn Movie Ranch ....
The film “Satan’s Sadists” is about a group calling themselves “The Satans,” sadists led by a bearded, bushy-haired, evil-eyed toughie who refers to himself as “Satan.” And just like Manson’s “Satan Slaves” cult, the film freak-outs also went out and committed barbaric acts of violence, sadistically, and for no other reason than the gratification they received from committing these acts.
Among the coincidences between fact and film fantasy is the movie’s theme song. It tells about the fictional Satan’s troubled childhood and of his mother, who was “everybody’s girl.”

Bothering Adamson in a spooky kind of way are these two coincidences:
— The Russian roulette sequence. In the film, a member of the gang kills himself playing Russian roulette just as it occurred in real life on Nov. 5 when “Satan Slave” Christopher Jesus, known in the Manson cult as “Zero,” did himself in.
— Look-a-like featured player William Bonner is a dead-ringer for guru Manson, right down to the accused slayer’s satanic stare.
