Here's a side of Mary Tyler Moore fans likely have never seen before: holding up the radical newsletter of a notorious satanic cult!
The National ENQUIRER obtained this shocking 1967 photo of the beloved star in London; Mary smiles next to a man and displays "Process Magazine," the in-house publication of The Process Church of the Final Judgment, with its swastika-styled logo on the cover.
Mary clearly doesn't know she's holding "The Sex Issue," featuring articles on "sex magick" honoring the cult's Three Great Gods: Jehovah, Satan and Lucifer!
"It's absolutely clear that poor Mary was duped into endorsing the Process Church – having no idea it was an evil cult!" a source told The ENQUIRER . "Certainly it was a coup for the church to get Mary to pose for this photo – possibly for their own recruiting purposes – because she personified the sweet girl next door in America, and the type of individual the evil cult would like to brainwash!"
As The ENQUIRER previously reported, the 78-year-old TV legend is losing her long struggle with numerous health woes and appears to be "at death's door," as one eyewitness recently suggested.
But at the time of this trip, Mary was only 31, and the Process Church was just beginning to infiltrate the U .S. with its message that Christ and Satan will reconcile at the end of the world and pass judgment on humanity.
Vincent Bugliosi – the prosecutor in the Manson Family murder trial – believes the members were a strong influence on Charles Manson. The church also attracted Hollywood stars flirting with satanism – including Sammy Davis, Jr. and sex symbol Jayne Mansfield.
Thank you, Candy and Nuts
Has Mary Tyler Moore accounted for her whereabouts on the night of Aug 8th/9th 1969?
Why on earth does one pose with something one does not have any understanding of when one is capable of almost understanding it and thus deciding not to pose? If you just happen to find a prehistorical dildo and smile for the camera, thinking its a medieval baton, i could somewhat relate to the situation. I even understand the Rosalynn Carter and John Wayne Gacy-photo. But, in this case, she was either not capable of understanding or just in one of those moods. Only two options available, of course.
It's quite possible too that the Enquirer doctored the photo. They were busted doing that several times back in the day.
Good call Matt. The photo looks just too damn unlikely. Too good to be true.
Somebody say, Oooh, Roob!
I've seen the photo before, it's real. Rosalynn Carter was also was photographed with Jim Jones of Jonestown fame.
Beauders- "I've seen the photo before, it's real."
Do you have any independent evidence that it wasn't doctored, or are you merely saying that you know it's real because you've seen it before?
I find the picture, lets say.......Somewhat Strange. I do agree with Matt on this. Only on base of looking at the picture, I dont know the story, never read about
While we're on the subject of FAKE stuff, I just saw on PBS a doc on the My Lai Massacre.
That's right folks, they actually made a FAKE video of what they "clain" was American soldiers intentionally "KILLING" civilian men, women and children at the Vietnam village of My Lai.
No wonder poor Lyndon Johnson had to QUIT being President of the US. They purposely smeared LBJ's good name in order to get that dirty dog NIXON in the White House.
Last month they were showing Nazi films that "showed" the Jews were only make-believe maniquins being dumped in huge pits for burial. My God, as you can see in Shindler's List, "Nazi Good" Gave jobs to Jews.
Imagine - some folks actually "believed" that LBJ (the man who gave the Black Folks their civil rights) was RESPONSIBLE for the murdering of women and children.
I guess some folks will believe just about ANYTHING !
Something completely different now, I do have a question .... Does anybody know IF there are so called Snuff-Movies wich Charlie is known to have played in. And if so, in what timeframe ?? when was that periode ?? Could that be in any connection to Anton Lavey and/or Church of Satan. I found a Docu about satanism in Netherlands back in the ^Sixties (Amsterdam)The leader of that was connected to Lavey, in fact He was kinda ,,Baptised,, by Lavey . A condition to even be allowed to start a chapter of the Church of Satan ,here in Amsterdam. It is a Docu wich ends with Manson too...taken from a well known interview in Jail. The shots where Lavey does some Satanic Rituals are from 1968/69, and there are also quick shots of Snuff movies, kinda Flashes. I am trying to download it all but the Site wont let me.
I've read many times that no snuff films have ever surfaced so they must not exist. With nature abhorring a vaccuum, though, sometimes I wonder.
And John Wayne fact posed with Mrs Carter also stand me if I need to be corrected my point is celebs pose for pictures doesn't mean this is bullshit
John Wayne gacy
Oops guess that was already mentioned
I can' t think of any available pre-arrest video photage of Charles Manson. As far as planned stuff. There's the black jesus-movie that was never made. Aes-Nihil has this kind of manuscript of the supposed porno. I doubt its authenticity. The only really substantiated connection to LaVey is due to him employing Susan Atkins to the effect of being disappointed in her work ethic. I say snuff movies are bunk. Its sort of like a masturbatory phantasy for the conspiracy minded. Odds of a physically free Charles Manson having been caught on film should be good. But the risk of said film having been discarded is great. You should direct all movie questions to the family court photographer, since his presence on this blog is great.
OK, which one of us is the family court photographer?
Ask Stanton Z there is much with Jon they have real truth
Rob just because you think it's so doesn't mean zip or because Jon aesthetically nihilistic doesn't put all his wares publicly doesn't mean it doesn't exists
Ask Stanton Z there is much with Jon they have real truth
A few years ago I bought a book online that has a reproduction of all of the Process magazines. Bizarre to say the least.....
Who can turn the world on with her smile?
You should question the photage, not that it means zip. I know he has it. I just don't believe it means anything.
I'm pretty sure the photo is genuine. People forget this now but for a short while in the 60s the Process Church was doing very well for itself. It had a groovy temple/cafe/bar in LA as well as chapters in SF, NYC, the UK and Canada. These all saw a lot of traffic and it even managed to generate some interest from celebrities & the West Coast's top tier, although never to the same extent as Scientology. The Process earned a good chunk of its money and its notoriety by distributing newspapers as well as by charitable-fundraising/Lucifer-worship, so it's not at all unlikely that someone was ready with a camera when Mary Tyler Moore happened to be passing and picked up a copy out of interest. Mister Beard with her is Robert de Grimston, by the way, the Grand Poobah (I forget his real title) of all Processeans.
Of course, we all know what killed the Process' nascent reputation- Manson! Guilt by association! Reports that he was involved with them absolutely devastated what was in essence a mostly harmless group, although there were already problems in the Church. Press attention following TLB exacerbated those issues & the Church collapsed in on itself. The Church featured writing by Manson in their 'Death' issue after he was arrested (which can't have helped their image problems..) which seems very apt to me, the guy oozed death to such an extent that he killed a whole religion just by being mentioned in the same breath as it! Oo-ee-oo!
Then again if you walk around in public wearing a red-and-black cape decorated with a crucifix/horned ram's skull combo, distributing newspapers which discuss the inseperability of Christ, Jehovah, Lucifer and Satan, and how they're all just different aspects of like, the human psyche, dig?.. then you're probably asking to have your reputation trashed. And how! A child could do it, really..
I'm fairly positive I saw the photo in an old Process magazine.
Relax everyone...Mary was just picking up a copy for Rhoda.
