Bruce Davis Must Be a Special Kind of Stupid

After his failed parole hearing where he was denied for three years because he appeared on Keith Rovere's "The Lighter Side of Serial Killers" he continues to communicate with Rovere.

These pics were snagged from Rovere's Instagram page.

He's either got dementia or he's institutionalised and quite happy where he is... probably a mixture of both.

I understand the former is the case.

I drive by CMC in San Luis Obispo virtually every day and when he was housed there, I’d “say” to him, “You idiot. You gave up your whole life for what, exactly?”

I don't think he envisaged getting caught, tried, convicted and jailed ! 😅

From the photos he looks like he's got a couple screws loose. And like others have said, he probably doesn't care either way about getting out at this point.

On a separate note, here's hoping Deb S is feeling ok. All the best to her.

In the famous video Bret unearthed on Youtube, he literally turns himself in (after weeks of banging Nancy in sewage under the streets of LA) saying something along the lines of "they are arresting bodies so here I am". Now I'll agree he was high as a fucking kite, but he definitely envisaged being arrested (he was not "caught") and tried. Maybe he thought he would walk but that would be silly. We hen you're the gold standard Grim you gotta be intensely accurate .

If I had to bang Nancy, I'd turn myself in too.

I meant, in my lighthearted way, when he cut Shorty and when he went round to Gary's, he wasn't envisaging getting caught, charged, tried, convicted and jailed.

Off topic - Patricia Krenwinkel was granted parole today.

Not so long ago, people said that about Leslie.

@grim..... Really invalid comparison when one seriously studies the case. I stand by my statement. Katie has about as much chance at being released as Tex, Bobby and Bruce.....in other words zero.

It kinda stands to reason because of what he did that he is already a special kind of stupid. Which is an understatement

Here is another murderer who can become a cottage industry for some group similar to this. This guy is as weird as they come and has done things in common with the Manson group debacle .https://www.investigationdiscovery.com/crimefeed/crime-history/who-is-suburban-satanist-pazuzu-algarad-and-what-is-he-known-for

I am one who said ( loudly) Leslie would never get out. I was wrong. I will not make the same mistake with Pat. She just might walk. I doubt Newsome will approve, but he is starting to show a reluctance to fight back much either when overturned. He may run for President. How the politics of it will matter, or will they at all? I really do not have any idea. When I saw Pat's name in Yahoo news today, it made me think about the case, this site, and some of you for the first time in quite awhile ....

So I thought I would pop in and say Hello :)

They are making another movie with Brad Pitt reprising his role from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood I have also saw today under related searches under the article about Pat. This is interesting to me. He was the best part of that movie and when I read the follow-up Novella Quinten wrote after the movie- it was obvious he had just touched the depth of this character.

I also decided to google LULU and see if there was any updates about her life since she got free, but saw nothing of note. So, it seems some may have been correct that it was time and she really doesn't pose any further threat to society. Not really what the point was to me, but let me ever go there again and just be wrong about the outcome of her getting out :)

Now I am not going to argue for one second over Pat. Leslie only went one night. Leslie only stabbed one person after they were already dead ( maybe). Leslie was free for a time and was very responsible. Leslies original conviction was overturned at a later trial. Cant say any of that about Pat can we? Pat has only one argument on her side and that is an impressive incarceration record for a very long period of time. It ended up being enough for LULU, but how much more brutal was Pats involvement, and what should that equate to in the difference of time she should serve versus what Lulu ended up serving? For all my friends out there so fixated on Matrix's and measuring this sentence strictly in terms of time served. Dozens, if not a hundred plus stab wounds to multiple people versus 9 or 10 to one dead person. How much longer until its fair for Pat to hit the rocking chair on the beach as well?

I can have my say, and you can all have yours. A few years ago I would have argued about it. Maybe Leslie reads this and privately she can have her thoughts about Pats freedom too. I bet Pat has had some idea of her own bouncing around in her head ever since she saw Leslie's bunk sitting empty. But you know who wont have any say- ever?

Rosemary and Leno.

As I think of you all of you once in awhile- I hope you will please think about them from time to time as well....

There is an aspect of that in which I kind of agree with you.
But it's fairly clear to me that many people {including quite a few that have been on parole boards} don't seriously study the case.

The paradoxical side of this, however, is that it's not invalid. I was making the point, I guess, that one should "ne dis jamais jamais" ¬> never say never. Because you just never know. Look at Bruce. Who would have honestly said that after 7 parole recommendations, he would be batted back ? And the reality is that people over the years did say that Leslie would never get out. And people also looked hard at Pat's case and declared she'd never get a parole recommendation, and yet, now she has 2. Pat, the longest serving jailbird {in the English sense} in California history, with 7 strikes against her name when it comes to murder.
Life can be strange, people are strange, and the wind changes direction at unexpected times. The wind was blowing against Pat for a long time, but is now seemingly blowing in another direction. I was surprised that she got the first recommendation, so I would not be surprised if she did eventually get out. To be honest with you, I wouldn't even be surprised if Tex got out, but I would be if he survived another 10 years.

@grim.....Neither Katie, Bruce, Tex or Bobby will ever get out. Take it to the bank.

How goes it Saint

No, I don't see Bruce as being stupid or having dementia. In fact, I think he looks pretty cool and hip & young for his age. I've listened to his interviews, and I believe his Christianity is credible. He is very levelheaded, and he expressed happiness that Charlie was a fellow believer. There are many far worse murderers than him many of them w0e-MEN. Take that chick in California who stabbed her boyfriend >108 times and walked due to reefer madness! Take Susan Wright who plotted her husband's murder, got him drunk, tied him to the bed and stabbed him >193 times! She's out! After 16 years. Now feminazi Patty Krenwinkel is granted parole. What's wrong with this gyno-centric generation that heinous fe-MALE PERPS are walking and males who commit lesser offenses are never forgiven. What's wrong with you simps that you think like menopausal w0e-MEN with no nuance. Bruce is a repentant guy and pretty sharp. Ps. Don't be so sure Krenwinkel will never get out, she was easily the main stabber after Tex and yet there seems to be a trend of exonerating heinous w0e-MEN who look like German MEN.
