I received a message from Colonel Scott that Bruce Davis has died in prison. It took a little searching but I was able to find a website that announced the death, barely. This website I believe belongs to Debra Tate or one of her supporters.
https://noparoleformansonfamily.com/I did check the California Inmate Locator website and Bruce is no longer listed as being incarcerated. Beyond that I have no other information.

Nice to hear from you! Was a little worried?
Deb, thanks for posting this information. I personally did not know if Bruce had been ill recently or for how long. And since we are on the subject (I don't know if this has been previously reported here on the blog), I recently learned that Janet Parent, Steven Parent's sister, has passed away. In addition, George Smith, author of the very lovely books on 10050 Cielo Drive, has evidently also passed.
Did he help kill anyone besides Shorty?
He was present briefly with Manson at the Hinman scene.
Now, there's a coincidence. Another Bruce Davis has died at the age of 83 in September.

Well, let's face it, Bruce was never exactly high-rent on the criminal stakes.

who is George Smith?
Bruce ya coulda been getting some of the hot sweaty Pitman vag in the LA sewers for eternity but NOOOOOO you turned yourself in and nobody ever let you out again. You were so inconsequential even morons like White Rabbit back in the day had no shame in pinning bullshit on you- because who were you?
But little did they all know you had a secret, a secret that Bill Nelson revealed to Max Frost who revealed it to me- Rest in Peace ZODIAC, Rest in Peace.
Col, I'm referring here to George E. Smith. He's the author of the history books on 10050 Cielo Drive, and had a Facebook page featuring his research. He began collecting Sharon Tate memorabilia back in 1972 after following her as a kid in the 60's.
He developed an impressive collection of all things Sharon and 10050 Cielo Drive, most of which evidently was sold or gifted to a friend of his. I learned of his passing on another website dedicated to the murders.
"Death hag" me can't help but wonder how it will pan out regarding the order the remaining inmates will meet their maker. With his health issues, I'm thinking Bobby would most likely be next but I'm thinking it's anyone's guess as to whether Pat or Tex would go first - I don't recall either having any significant health issues disclosed so I'm predicting evens at this stage.
Did Bruce Davis ever serve in the armed services?
(Was once seen purchasing stuff at a PX*, allegedly)
*a PX is an on-base supermarket/department store
Bruce Davis turned 18 in 1960, when he should have been made to stand before a local draft board. He would have been eligible for the draft right up to his 26th birthday in 1966. What was Davis doing in those years?

No.

So because he was once allegedly seen in a supermarket on an army base, it becomes a question as to whether he was in the army, even though Cielo's site has loads of Bruce's parole hearing transcripts in which he endlessly discusses his life ?
Star, you stretch every irrelevant morsel so far, you really are the rubber band man !
So has he ever discussed how he got his draft deferment? Because that is the only way he would have avoided military service.
You are assuming that Bruce actually registered for the draft. He may not have registered. If he did register, he moved around a lot and did not have a consistant address. It's hard to receive the letter from the draft board to come in for a phsyical when they don't know where to send the letter. His family back in Tennessee did not know where he was living either.
Betting pool time, I got tex. Wishful thinking
he was such a strange person
Col./Deb - is there still a back door way to Bret's site? He had amazing biographies on Susan, Bruce and Katie. I think he was working on one about Tex when he passed.
As always I appreciate your research on this site.
If you just want the biographies, they were added to mansonblog years ago.

You can still access some of Brett's stuff.

It is really, really, really good to see that you're posting again. I hope you are well.
