THE HOSE

The Rudy Weber house
9870 Portola Dr. Beverly Hills

The ONLY reason this house is connected to the most publicized murder in History, is because the hose was laying in the driveway. I mean, if you lived in this house, would you still leave the hose laying there like this? I guess you have better odds of being struck by lightning twice, than having blood drenched killers stop by to get a drink from your hose twice.

Who cares about finding the motive, I need to figure out how in the hell they turned that car around. I drove a Ford Ranger up this street and it wasn't easy making a u-turn without hitting something. Portola Dr. is an alley at best and turning a 1959 Ford Fairlane around seems to me would be almost impossible. Below is Portola Dr. in front of the Weber house and possibly where the killers parked.

1918 - Jacqueline Susann born

From History.com:

On this day in 1918, Jacqueline Susann, the author of Valley of the Dolls, the 1966 mega-hit novel about the showbiz lives of three women (reportedly modeled in part after Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly), is born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Like her characters in Valley of the Dolls, Jacqueline Susann moved to New York City as a young woman to pursue acting. She landed small roles in theater and television, married press agent Irving Mansfield and wrote a play, Lovely Me, which had a brief run on Broadway. Susann’s first book, published in 1962 and titled Every Night, Josephine!, was about her poodle. Some 26 million readers snapped up Valley of the Dolls, her second work, despite less-than-favorable reviews by critics who labeled it trashy. It went into The Guinness Book of World Records as the planet’s then-most popular novel. The “dolls” in the book’s title referred to the uppers and downers the characters ingested to cope with their soap opera-like lives. Susann traveled extensively to promote Valley of the Dolls and became a frequent guest on TV talk shows.

In 1967, Valley of the Dolls was released as a movie starring Patty Duke, Sharon Tate and Barbara Parkins. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for its score, composed by John Williams, and Tate received a Golden Globe nomination for Most Promising Newcomer.  (The wife of movie director Roman Polanski, Tate was murdered at her Los Angeles home in 1969 by members of the Charles Manson cult.)

Valley of the Dolls has twice been adapted for television, in 1981 and 1994. Two of Susann’s other books, The Love Machine and Once Is Not Enough, were also gobbled up by her many fans, making Susann the first novelist with three consecutive books to reach the top spot on The New York Times bestseller list. Like Valley of the Dolls, both novels were adapted for the big screen, in 1971 and 1975, respectively. Susann died of cancer at age 53 on September 21, 1974. In 2000, Bette Midler starred as Susann in a big-screen biopic, Isn’t She Great, co-starring Nathan Lane as Irving Mansfield.

JANE DOE #59 Case File 358UFCA

Unidentified White Female
The victim was discovered on Nov. 16, 1969 in Los Angeles, CA
Estimated date of death: Nov. 14, 1969
Stabbed to death

Case History

The victim was located on Mulholland Drive and Skyline Drive, Los Angeles, CA. She was found down an embankment alongside of Mulholland Drive, near Laurel Canyon, by a hiker.
She had been stabbed to death, and there is evidence of a "rage" or overkill.

Because of the labels in her clothing, detectives suspect she may have come from Canada or the east coast, possibly Europe.
A witness remembered seeing the girl with the Manson Family at Spahn's Ranch, and thought her name was "Sherry".

Discovery Park Murders: the Death of James "Spider" Craig

above: the only spot off the pavement big enough for a car west of Truxel on Sacramento's Garden Highway. In 1978 this would have been a relatively isolated place.

James Terrell “Spider” Craig's woman was Priscilla “Tuffy” Cooper. They were living with Nancy Pitman, Michael “Redeye” Monfort, Billy Goucher and Maria “Crystal” Alonzo in Guerneville when the three men decided to take James Willett out into the woods and kill him on or about October 17, 1972.

By 1978, Spider was out of prison and running with other Aryan Brotherhood fellas. One of them was 27 year old Ed Barabas, who had just finished serving a three year term at nearby Folsom Prison for armed robbery. Inevitably, something they were doing in Sacramento went horribly wrong. At about 4am on the morning of Wednesday, November 15th, police found Spider and Barabas with shotgun wounds to their faces and stuffed into the trunk of a burning 1967 gold colored Dodge near Discovery Park, Sacramento. The car was stolen about five miles south in a community called Hood, and reportedly parked just off the pavement west of Truxel on the Garden Highway.

Barabas was positioned closest to the back seat and was pronounced dead on the scene. However, Spider was taken to nearby U. C. Davis Medical Center where he survived in the burn unit until his death on December 22. Legend has it that his last words before a medically induced coma set in were “She’s dangerous!” Spider's car was later found parked downtown at 17th and Q.

Above is the U.C. Davis Medical Center’s old ED where Spider was likely deposited by paramedics. It was vacated in late 2010 and is scheduled for demolition within the next two years.

A message to Eviliz.com from Dianne Lake

Hello my "M Friends",

I  recently received an e-mail from the Dianne Lake. I have added a copy of the e-mail below.  I am contacted by so many "key people" doing this blog, that Ken, Patty, Matt and I sometimes have to pinch each other to see if we are dreaming. Sometimes we also pinch each other just to be mean. Patty usually starts it.

One of my "sources" is a good friend of Dianne Lake's. Dianne has been following the blog and caught the vibe that I am one of the few "good people" in the M blog land. I have  deleted the name of our friend and certain places as to protect my "source" along with Dianne and her family.

The main reason we all congregate here is, we are very interested in what has happened to the "Family" members after it was all said and done. Some say we are obsessed.  I say we are curious. We have discussed Dianne on several occasions with hopes that she went on to live a happy life. You will find out if she did in the e-mail she has allowed me to share with you all.

Dianne has read the good and negative things expressed about her and her family. I am asking you all to please treat her and her family with the same respect and dignity that you would like yourself and your own family to be treated with.

The same way we all did for "Miranda" from Gary Hinman's camp. Also included are a few of my favorite things-putting to rest the lies the media has feed us about the case and the people involved with it. Along with putting some myths to rest.

-----------------------------------------

Hi Liz,

I am the real Dianne Lake. [name redacted] told me you were one of the good ones. I find your blog to be a mostly intelligent discussion of current events.

Most of my extended family does not know the truth about my teen years. On your site you have posted some pictures of me and my granddaughter that I would appreciate if you would remove. Also could you remove the picture of me and some fellow [medical condition redacted] sufferers during a Washington protest rally. The FDA is finally coming to realize that our suffering is cause for action and I do not wish to bring my past into the mix to overshadow the gains that have been made or hurt any of the leaders of this action who do not know of my association.

I have lived a completely normal and productive life and overcame the trauma of living under the influence of drugs and CM except for keeping it a secret. Some of the comments made about my parents are very hurtful and would be extremely hurtful to my mother who is still living and is the dearest soul. Yes they made mistakes but they were very intellectual and thought they were doing the right thing by dropping out of society as well as many other people did during the 60's. My dad being a follower of Allen Ginsburg, Jack Kerouac, admirer of Timothy Leary and an artist was especially susceptible to this "new age". My mother was always very spiritual and loved my father deeply and trusted him more than she should have and went along with the "turning on, tuning in and dropping out". It was a relatively short period in their lives and they have both apologized for "throwing the baby out with the bathwater". I have forgiven them. My father has passed on and we have lived relatively quiet and upstanding lives for 40 years.

I have been married for 32 years to a wonderful man and we have 3 beautiful children, all grown up and out on their own. Please respect me and my family and allow them to live without the evilness that Charlie has come to represent. By the way my nickname "Snake" is my personal story and no version posted is the right one, just fabrications and misinterpretations of others' imaginations to sell books. I have sent 2 pictures of myself to replace the ones I hope you will remove.

Thanks Dianne

The End is Near

?

There's a couple of sites that have been around for years. One calls itself the "Official" and the other the "Truth". Both of these sites state they want to find the truth behind the Tate/Labianca murders. I'm sure they do. It seems both started out on the long road of reexamining what's available and filtering out the bullshit to find the truth. Both, as with most of the other sites, have thrown the Helter Skelter motive out the window. I can't say I'm in disagreement with this. I applaud them for their efforts, they have provided and contributed lots.

Now I know there's gonna be some fool that is going to accuse me of not being able to ask this question on my own, but... what about Saladin Nader? It seems that the Nader part of the second night of murders is completely over looked by both the "Official" and the "Truth" sites. I would think that in the search of the truth, all of the facts would need to be included. The "Official" site's archive goes back six years. If you type the word Nader in the search bar, Nader appears only once in six years of archived material. In fact, Nader is only mentioned while commenting on Mark Turner's interactive map. The "Truth" site does go a little more in depth on the Nader subject, but not much. In fact it starts out on topic, but Shitty Kitty quickly gets distracted because someone mentions "Donkey" Dan and it appears she starts typing with one hand while rubbing one out with the other as she discusses DeCarlos' anatomy. So much for Nader.

I'll be the first to say that I am not the most educated on all things Manson. Common sense says that the Saladin Nader part of the second night must be included in searching for the motive for the murders. Even though he didn't get killed, he was intended to. Just because there's not a lot of information on Nader other than Linda's testimony, doesn't mean that it's not important. Linda's description of the building and what they did was very accurate. I've been in the apartment building and have provided pictures according to her discription. The botched attempted murder of Saladin Nader did happen. It happened on the same night as the Labianca murders. Why has this been over looked?

Now we know who Charlie was texting

SEATTLE, WA- Amazon has come under fire once again for its decision to carry yet another controversial book. In recent news, the internet retail powerhouse was scrutinized for its decision to carry, The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child -Lover's Code of Conduct by Philip R. Greaves II. Now they are pushing the limits even farther with a new children's book that has been penned by non other than one of the 20th century's most notorious criminals, Charles Manson. Manson now 76, has been incarnated for the past 41 years for convincing his followers to commit murder in the famous Hinman,Tate, and LaBianca killings of the late 1960's.

The book titled, The Trials of Tommy Travis, is about a young 11 year old boy who is misunderstood by his peers and how how feels ostracized from the neighborhood kids. The story explores how Tommy copes with his loneliness and his many failed attempts to fit in. It chronicles Timmy's life as he becomes the guru of a renegade group that develops its own ranch style community on the outskirts of his home town. Ultimately, the community flourishes and prospers bringing new hope into a downtrodden world.
Sounds familiar.

Parent groups around the nation are outraged over the news and are calling for the immediate ban on the sale of the book, not only on Amazon but everywhere.
"How does a book like this even become published?" asked Susan Powell, founder of Stability, Togetherness and Family Unity (STFU), (<~~~ eviliz always thought that STFU-stood for shut the fuck up. who knew?) "who in their right mind could have thought that a book like this, by such an awful man, was a good idea?"
In December of last year, Manson was found to have been making phone calls and sending text messages from prison. It has now been revealed that the communications were with Charlie's Freedom Press (CFP), the British Columbia based independent publishing company that produced the controversial book. Evidentially, Manson wrote the entire book through thousands of text messages sent to the publisher. We feel that the story will help children throughout the world to better understand how to deal with feelings of ostracization and "outsiderness". We truly feel that the notoriety of the author will only aid in getting the message out faster." explained CFP in a statement to the press, "We're hoping that the book can help to create a dialogue between children and parents about the issues involving different, fitting in and the bad feelings that can result from being shunned from peers." By now I'm sure that this book has already been pulled from the retailer's website due to the controversy. But I cannot imagine that you won't find it on the days to come throughout the listings of eBay and other internet auction sites.
Have to put this on the kids x-mas list!

NO DOUBT A HOAX BUT STILL ENTERTAINING-
